Large fully fenced back yard with pool open in late spring and summer for dogs. Private setting with beautiful woods views. If you plan to use the pool please add it to your reservation by selecting it under extras. We also have fresh eggs for sale from our backyard chickens. $4 a dozen. Let me know if you’re interested and they can be left in a cooler for pick up during your visit.

Welcome to Wilde Kind Farm! Bring your doggos to run and play off-leash in our 4 acres of fenced play yard! We have lots of space to explore, toys, cold drinks and lots of other amenities! We have 75 acres here in historic Litchfield with the original 1830 farmhouse and a big red barn. We have a couple areas for your to explore. A smaller area with shelter and taller fencing that is lit up at night. Or you can go through the gate to our "wilder" area to the left of the barn. Please note the entire SS accessible property is fenced. There is a driveway gate, and a second gate to enter our SniffSpot. To access the fenced acreage walk to the left of the Barn and look for the "Guest Entrance" sign on the gate.

It’s perfect for dogs who love to sniff, explore, and run off-leash in a peaceful rural setting. The yard is enclosed with a 3-foot-high wire livestock fence (1 ft x 7 in spacing between wires), which offers a safe environment for most dogs, though it may not be suitable for very small pups or high jumpers without supervision. The space is adjacent to a quiet street where neighbors sometimes walk their dogs, so your pup might spot some friendly passersby. Hummingbird Hill Farm is a goat sanctuary with 50 acres. Our property has several walking trails with varied terrain, a small stream, small pond and wetland, and a wild area(no trail). Deer are present on the property on occasion. Always a chance to encounter (rarely) other smaller wildlife.

Bark ‘n Glow at Wilde Kind Farm

Our night-time spot! These hot summer days make it hard to find a place to take your furry friends. Come visit our farm where we have a lit up, fenced play yard, citronella candles, bug spray, and and lots of toys. For the hoomans there is a 3-sided shelter with seating. Get out of the weather, charge your phone, and stay cool while your dogs play! Please note we are updating fencing and adding some new daytime areas so the fencing area may be changing around a bit as we finish updates this fall. My name is Seth and I've been a lifelong dog owner. I've always loved getting out for adventures and finding new spots to let dogs romp off leash. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed in September 2022 and Boss passed in July 2023, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! We believe a tired dog is a happy dog, and an even happier owner 😉
