The fenced yard felt very secure, and I never worried about him getting out. For humans, the sheltered area with blankets, pillows, and plenty of seating made it extra comfortable. The yard also had lots of toys, though if you like using a chuck it, I’d recommend bringing your own balls. Overall, a truly wonderful experienceand I highly recommend this spot. 55Had a nice time with our dogs! There was a dog that was on the other side of the fence but the fence is pretty big that it wasn’t too much of a problem with our reactive dogs. The dog left pretty soon after coming up to the gate. Host was great as well and left water out for us! Viviana C.

55What a lovely sniff spot!!! Our dogs loved it! We brought a few agility obstacles and there was plenty of room to set them up and practice. Easy to find and flat entrance which is also nice because we hauled our stuff in. We hope to return!Janet M.

55Lovely spot! Big enough for decent fetch, room to ramble around, easy parking and entry. It would be shady a lot of the time, and the seating area is very nice - much better than most spots! Both boys enjoyed bounding around in the ivy, or laying and chewing in cool comfort.
The only cautions are that the front fences are about 3' so jumpers won't be great here, none of the fences are solid and there are people and dogs visible/audible at times, and it's easy for a ball to get lost in the ivy so you have to really watch! I have bigger stuffed throwing toys that did well but a ball would drop right through and be hard to see.

FAQ About Seattle Dog Parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 409 fully fenced dog parks in the area.
