We have a big yard, we love dogs and we love community, so we figured what better way to spread some joy?
October 2024: Does your pup love *gently used* toys? Until we run out, there’s a bag full of freebies for visitors to take home - please limit to one per pup per visit! Check out this fully-fenced third of an acre backyard with a variety of grass, dirt, and weeds hanging out, at the moment. Lots of room for your pups to run, play fetch and roll around. There’s a spigot and a dog bowl for your pups to use as needed, and poop bags and a trash bin for your convenience. Please pick up poop before you head home for the day. ❤️ Please park on the grassy curb off of 126th and walk your pups east on 126th to the chain link fence gate by the big cedar tree! That’s the easiest entry point. 👍 🚌 School is back in session, and there’s a school bus stop on the other side of my fence. If your pup is people reactive, avoid the 7-8:30am and 2-4pm hours on weekdays! 🚌 Tag us in your photos if you post them to Instagram: @dougsdogpark
Easy access, fully fenced. Have fun!
Welcome to our 1-acre, fully fenced Sniffspot, a perfect haven for your furry friends! The majority of the yard features a well-groomed lawn, ideal for running and playing. For more adventurous pups, there's a wild area at the back, perfect for sniffing and exploring. The gently sloped terrain ensures a great workout, especially during a game of fetch. Come and let your pup enjoy a safe and exciting playtime experience! The backyard gets full shade in the evening. Although, we have shaded seating area should you decide to come in full sun.
Conveniently located next to a public trail access, and located within private property. The lawn is a mix of short grass and soft moss, this is regularly maintained and never sprayed with chemicals or fertilizers. Fully fenced on all four sides with no low spots\gaps. One secured swinging gate at the entrance. Dedicated parking along the road just before the house and is clearly marked with a sign! The table next to the fenced area has a mailbox with hand sanitizer and other goodies, there is also a water\food bowl available. (I have a hose on the side of the house you are welcome to use) Please dispose of any used poop bags and other trash in the little blue trash bin under the table. The road next to the fenced area is privately owned, so the only people and vehicles that pass by are residents and delivery couriers but they are not very visible due to the difference in elevation. People occasionally pass by on the public trail and some do bring their pets, but it is mostly obscured from view by the trees on our property and separated by two sets of fences. Note that we are within hearing distance from a sportsman club\firing range, so at times there may be noise. Please reach out with any questions you may have!
** Closed through the winter. We will reopen in the Spring! Happy holidays everyone! ** ⛄️ Welcome to our natural wetland oasis. Bring your rain boots & explore our trails! We have 1/2 an acre of fully fenced backyard and another 2 1/2 acres of unfenced (or partially fenced) property & trails to explore. Our land is surrounded by streams and many more acres of protected county land. Park at the dead-end street and then walk through our gate by the bridge and enter the fenced-in area by our “Welcome Bear” Feel free to explore the front area down by the stream on your way out! ***PLEASE NOTE: We do have pet pigs and they will be visible to you and your dog. They are separately contained in their own fenced-in area, but it is wire fencing and you WILL see them. The pigs do not mind being barked at so that’s not a problem at all. Thank you for understanding! 🐷
WINTER 2024 UPDATE: The wetland in the pasture is filling up with the rains and can get to be 1-2 feet deep. Bring a towel to dry off your dog! WATER/HOSE -- We have a hose available for use * upon request * we must be home to turn the water on, please message us if you would like the water turned on and we will do our best to accommodate. -------- Two adjacent and connected pasture fenced yards totaling almost one acre including mixed long grass/dirt/wild flowers, beautiful old trees and sloped terrain above and below. No known hazards aside from hilly terrain and some blackberry brambles (we are diligently fighting them). In rainy months Nov-April there is a shallow pond/wetland (bring a towel). Fencing is all new 5' agricultural fencing secure for dogs of all sizes. Enjoy the serene space with a creek just beyond the fencing. Many songbirds too! Upper pasture features a playset with slides and swings. Two benches for sitting. Maybe not suitable for very tiny dogs due to eagles/ hawks. Private!!! Closed toed shoes recommended as well as mosquito repellent in summer especially at dawn and dusk. Hose may be available with advanced notice. Private driveway can be hard to find (follow instructions in welcome message). *** Construction may be occurring on site as we are remodeling. (PM with questions). This is above by our house and would not be visible from the lower pasture *** *** If you are bringing a FOSTER DOG currently available for adoption please PM me for a discount code *** Keep an eye out for: Eagles, Hawks, Great Heron, Kingfisher, Woodpecker, Beaver, Bobcat, Bear, Coyotes -- we love our wild ones!
Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week. Plenty of amenities. You can hang out in the chairs and watch the boats go by. Marine Traffic is a good app to identify the boats. 6' chainlink fencing. Plenty of parking and double gated entry for groups. There is no lighting, so bring your headlamp for winter evenings. This area has been newly de-brushed and the grass is just starting to grow. The ground is uneven. Use the discount code NOGRASS20 until there is grass in the spring.
