Description

Come visit our beautiful spot out in the historical Cumberland Homesteads! Set on 20 acres with a 1935 original homestead house, your fur babies will be able to run and play to their heart's content! This spot is very wide open and peaceful with beautiful scenery. During the summer months, feel free to pick blackberries that grow all along the backside of the field, either to take or enjoy during your stay; Great treat for your fur babies also ;) ! During the fall you will have an amazing view of the entire woodline trees changing colors, and in winter months enjoy the beautiful mountain view that is more visible as the trees start to lose their leaves! You can walk the entire field, explore, and enjoy the peace with your babies! The woods are part of the property, so if you'd like to explore and hike the woods, feel free! There is a small creek that runs through the woods that flows really well after a good rain. You may also see a few deer in the morning or evening! Feel free to set up your lawn chairs and just relax while your babies run wild!

Hello! My name is Toni. I am a FL native and moved to Tennessee in 2021. I live in the Homesteads of Tennessee with my beautiful family; my husband and 3 children. We have 20 acres of open land, fully fenced in. We have 2 goats (soon to be more!) and the most friendly, calm Australian Shepherd named Remi. She absolutely loves playing with other dogs. Our property is the perfect spot for any kind of dog to run and play their little hearts out!

Drive up our hill driveway and enter a secluded area for your dog to run, play, and explore. There is an open field/grass area in our front yard, a smaller area in our backyard, and then 5 full wooded acres with a smaller trail for you and your pup to explore. Other dogs are not visible, every once in awhile if the wind carries just right, you may hear a dog a mile or so away. Deer and rabbit are sometimes spotted. Other homes are only visible partially when there are no leaves on the trees, but our closest neighbors are not within yelling distance, making for a beautiful secluded experience. Our fire pit is a great place to hang out, with Adirondack chairs to lounge on. A water spigot in the back is available to refresh your dog’s water bowel.

Small and large dog friendly. Table, chairs, and electric outlet available under the covered patio. Both yards are well lit at night with security and flood lights. Please park in the gravel drive and use the provided pooper scooper before leaving. I am a certified professional dog trainer and offer daycare/boarding on the property. You may hear the occasional bark from the kennel, but no dogs or other animals will be visible at any time during your visit. I live on-site and will be happy to assist if you should need anything. Cell phone service is extremely spotty so plan accordingly. The whole property is disinfected with Wysiwash and Rescue between visits.
