Dave's Dog Oasis and Campground

Trails, a pond for swimming, and open fields. All located just outside of town on a 20 acre plot. We are open for visits 7 days a week, from 6am all the way until 10pm to accommodate the cooler times of day! Trails are all marked with colored ribbons along the route. Currently the longest route is the perimeter loop which is marked by a blue ribbon. We are also now available for overnight stays through HipCamp. This is our personal home, we have 7 dogs and two cats. There are wild animals that could be within eyesight. We’ve lived here 15 years, lots of field and acreage to share for your fur babies. It is partially fenced; the back acreage and to the west. Parking is in the front through the entrance in the field, right or left- close to the road. You will be parking in grass. It is flat and usually cut and dry, minus summer storms. Our dogs are inside and only go out in our fenced in back yard, before the open field. If you need any further questions please let us know. Please pick up after your your dogs- we will have a trash poreceptacle for you.

Hey folks! My name is Axel and I’m a border collie/heeler! I understand needing somewhere private to stretch your legs and play, so me and my mom want to share my favorite spot in the world, my backyard!! You can play with my agility equipment, kiddie pool, sprinkler, and LOTS of toys!! There’s hooman bug spray and doggy bug spray available, lots of water bowls, plus a hose and spigot to refill them! We’ve got lots of shade, and I have lots of fun in my yard, so I hope you will too!! All dogs welcome! (oh, and I guess my mom says you have to bring your hooman too) Luv Axel 🐾

You may park on the street or on the short driveway on the east side of the property. Do not park in the main driveway. Enter through the east gate (chain link fence) on the left side of the house. Please do not use the west gate (wood fence) on the right side of the house. There is a pool that is open in summer and covered fall to spring. Please do not allow dogs in the pool or on the pool cover. Poop bags are available on the patio table. Please pick up after your dog and toss used poop bags in the trash bin. Thank you!

We have a lovely, park-like backyard on about an acre near 51st and Lewis. We love letting our friends and family bring their dogs to run and would love to see more dogs enjoy it! Note for dogs who are big jumpers: there are a couple of sagging spots on the east side chain link fence, so a very determined dog could potentially get over into the next yard. It has not been an issue, but please be aware.
