The property is located inside Cherokee National Forest. There are multiple nature walking trails through the forest and a spring fed creek.

Cherokee Forest Rottweiler Rescue has multiple dog trails through the Cherokee National Forest. Over 200 acres between the rescue property and the Hiwassee River and public for you to walk dogs.

Our spot is a quick drive from downtown Hayesville, this a spacious and safe area. The area is fully fenced in with a front entrance and access to water, you must provide a bowl. Dog owners are asked to clean up after their pup and a trash can will be provided. Grab a chair there is a spot for shade and room to throw the ball.
