Description

Good place for doggos to run a bit. I have a 12 year old lab who likes other dogs and people. Fenced area is grassy. Outside the fence is forest-like and only accessible through yard. Lots of branches and natural debris.

This is 40 undeveloped, private wooded acres less than 15 minutes from Bellingham and 10 minutes from Mount Baker Highway. There is a long unpaved road to wander on as you adventure deeper into the property. Trails to come, until then, explore as you wish. Enjoy nature’s agility course by wandering at your will. Off West Pole Road, there’s a little lane next to a DeWildes nursery field. Our front field has a hidden gate (see pictures!) that will let you into our fully fenced front field. The grass is field grass and a little more rough and uneven than a yard lawn, i.e. diggers welcome!!

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD. This space has some a covered sitting area with bench, poop bags and a disposal bucket. Great spot for throwing the ball with the chuck-it, digging box (please don't let them take ALL the sand out) and a climbing apparatus for the dogs away from the fence line. Only vaccinated dogs use this space. Park and go straight to the front fenced yard for your time period. We ask that you do not walk your dog around the property or bring them into the shelter - only to and from the yard. There is a no "nose-to-nose" rule at the facility and no dog is too be off leash on the grounds unless contained in the fenced yard. Public washroom available while your dog is contained in your vehicle, inside the shelter between 9am and 5:30pm.
