Fully fenced in back yard in a quiet, residential neighborhood. We're a couple miles from the train tracks and can hear the occasional train passing by. The yard is mostly open grass with some bushes and trees along the fence; the north side has a rose bush and a black berry bush with thorns. Throughout the day, different parts of the yard will be shaded. I spread clover seeds on the whole yard on May 22, 2025 and they should be growing in soon and will be mixed in with the existing grass. There are a few dirt patches from where holes were filled in that will be covered with the clover when it grows. There are also two veggie garden patches; please leave those alone. There's a plastic bench available for seating. It was originally green, but the previous owner painted it pink and it is now peeling off in places. It will be replaced eventually and I'll update the listing then, but it's safe to sit on and I've positioned it in a mostly shaded area near the house. The tennis balls and a bowl for water are stored in a plastic tote underneath the bench. The hose is draped on top of the fence by the gate you enter through, and the location to turn it on has been marked in the photos. It can be used to fill the water bowl, and it has one of the multi-stream option handles. I don't have any outdoor animals (I have two indoor cats and one does sometimes sit in the window that's visible from the backyard). The yellow house next to us has dogs that are often kept indoors, but there is a small fenced in area of their backyard where they'll sometimes be moved to that is visible from my back yard. The neighbors across the street from them have at least one dog too, but they would only potentially be visible from the parking spot, not the back yard, and I don't see them very often. There are a couple of neighborhood/stray cats that walk through my yard, and I frequently see birds, squirrels, and rabbits around and in the back yard.

Welcome to Crossing Creeks Farm, where we are passionate about producing great food for our family's table and yours! Our love for dogs and hosting has lead us to build and open a private dog park right here on our farm. We encourage you to check out our website at www.crossingcreeks.com to learn more about what all we have to offer. Our dog park is just over 1/3 acre and fully fenced for safe off-leash fun! And we've partnered with Wondercide to also provide a safe area with natural treatment for fleas and ticks. Our park includes leash hooks, automatic dog waterer, agility equipment, waste bags, trash can, hand sanitizer, shaded seating area, dog dig pit, and gumball treat dispenser (be sure to bring a quarter or two!). And included with your spot, is the use of our self-serve dog wash. Wondercide has provided their amazing shampoos and flea & tick sprays for your pup(s) to go home feeling fresh and clean. Our on-site Farm Store offers a variety of goodies for both human and four-legged friends. And feel free to enjoy a walk on our walking trails through our woods and creeks. Please keep a leash on your pet(s) while not in the dog park. Shane and I and our two boys, Noah and Caleb live here on the farm, as well as my parents, Reid and Susan. Feel free to ask any of us any questions you may have while on the farm. And shoot us a message if you have any questions before coming out. Some of the other residents of the farm are our chickens, ducks, turkeys, cattle, pigs, and horses-all fully contained in their own fences. We offer horseback riding lessons here as well and host traveling guests through our on-site RV sites and campsite. If you'd like to enjoy a campfire during your visit, add a firewood bundle to your reservation and we'll have everything setup in the park upon your arrival-you just pack the s'mores! Our public restroom is just a short walk across the yard and driveway from the dog park. 10% of all profit will be donated to our local no-kill animal rescue here in Bedford County. Finding our tucked-away location, understanding how to access our spot, and following the “poop rules” of our spot require careful reading of (and diligence in following) directions. **DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS** for these are provided after your booking. We have high expectations that our guests will be good partners in keeping our spot a comfortable and safe place to relax for our next visitors. :) 𝐓𝐎 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄: 𝟏) This Sniffspot is an off-road adventure! You will be driving on a dirt/gravel path, will park on grass/dirt, and may cross the small creek by foot. Conditions get muddy and access changes during wet weather, so please be prepared to follow posted signage. 𝟐) Access to the property requires unlatching and opening a drive-through gate. 𝟑) Access to the fenced Sniffspot requires parking before a small creek crossing and walking leashed dog over creek and about 500 feet along mowed path OR driving across the creek and parking by Sniffspot gated entrance. The choice is left to visitor discretion, but it is STRONGLY recommended that low-clearance vehicles (sedans, vans, etc) do NOT drive over the creek. They are unlikely to approach you as you enter the spot but may bark from a distance. No dogs aside from visiting dogs will be in the fenced-in spot. Dog barking is audible and dogs are visible while in the spot. 𝟓) There is a marked “creek spot” outside the fenced Sniffspot gate. Feel free to explore this small portion of the seasonal creek with your leashed pup during your reservation! 𝟔) It’s always recommended to walk the perimeter of the fence with your dog leashed when you arrive to ensure no fencing issues. 𝟕) POOP RULES: 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗣𝗢𝗢𝗣 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗦, 𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗗. We are interested in reducing the landfill footprint of pup visitors, so our poop disposal method is nontraditional but easy. (a) Preferred if possible: If dogs poop OUTSIDE the fenced spot in the tall grass, no pickup required! (b) If dogs poop INSIDE the fenced spot, use the provided pooper scoopers to toss poop over the fencelines or in the tumblers, 𝐎𝐑 use the 100% compostable green poop bags located in dispensers in the spot to toss poop in the provided compost tumblers. (c) 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗢𝗪𝗡 𝗣𝗢𝗢𝗣 𝗕𝗔𝗚𝗦, 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗗. 𝟖) Cushioned seating and hammocks are for people only, please. 𝟗) No children under age 7 are allowed without prior approval. Plentiful Hill is a wild place. We aim to make it accessible and enjoyable to visitors, but we ultimately submit to the inescapable power, beauty, and essence of nature. Please anticipate and prepare for normal outdoor issues including bug bites, snake encounters, and severe weather. We work hard to keep our spot maintained during the growing months, but bug spray (with Deet is the most effective) and tick checks are necessary to ensure you and your pups stay happy and healthy. :) *** You may hear the occasional gunshot from neighboring properties. That is common down in the country, especially during hunting season from Nov through Jan, and it can be startling. There is no shooting/hunting on our property.*** The Town of Chapel Hill is 10 minutes away and has several Dollar Generals, a small grocery store, several restaurants, a laundry mat, and a few boutique shops...enough to cover any essential needs you have while out visiting this way! We’re less than 30 minutes from Spring Hill and Lewisburg, less than 40 minutes from Franklin, Columbia, and Murfreesboro, and, surprisingly, less than 50 minutes from downtown Nashville. These are difficult times for a lot of folks, and we want our property to be a safe and inviting place for people of all backgrounds and their pets. It's important to us that people of color, those in the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone else who might sometimes feel unwelcomed in outdoor spaces feel especially comfortable and accepted while visiting our place.

Beautiful 27-acre property in rural Wartrace with plenty of room for dogs of any size or breed to come play, off or on leash. This is an awesome opportunity for you and your pet to go on the fun-filled, adventure-packed, private field trip you’ve been waiting for! We have a creek and pond on site for the water loving fur babies to use as they please! We ask that you use the second entrance that has a gravel driveway and parking area, rather than the entrance to the main house. There will be signage at the correct entrance. Keep in mind that we have a fence on all sides except along the road. However, our road isn’t very busy, and you will be far enough off the road enough that we do not foresee any problems, as long as your dog doesn’t have a tendency of heading for the hills as soon as they are off leash. Even then, I think there is enough room that any dog will be free to run and play without harm. We have two dogs of our own, so please let me know if you would like me to put them up during your visit. If not, my doggos are friendly and would love to play with your pet(s)! Most of the pets in the pictures provided are of dogs I have watched for friends and family in the past. Oh, and no need to bag poo. 😁
