The Pipeline. 6 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park with over 1km of trails

Welcome to "The Pipeline," a field, bush, and forested area with a stream, pond, and trails that dogs are going to love exploring. No neighbours in any direction to hassle you while making all the noise you want. Grass may be tall or short when you arrive, as it is a hay field, with a trail cut around the perimeter, through the middle, and into the forest to get to the pond. Guests are able to explore the whole property, but please stay in the forest and field areas. We have marked the trails with orange tape so that you can follow or just freestyle it and go wherever the nose leads. We realize sometimes dogs get excited and will venture out of those areas, so dont sweat it. As long as they are having fun, just call them back and continue on your way. We do suggest bringing some bug spray/mosquito repellent. There may be some burrs in the bushes,you have to watch for that. I have recently purchased a trail camera to watch for wildlife around the property, so you may once in a while see that put up in various areas.

* Please note that prices are in USD because it’s an American based company that I’m using to post my property. Our fully fenced in spot established in Fall 2024 is very long and narrow, with a small hill at the very back. It’s a great spot for playing fetch, or if your pooch has the zoomies. One of my neighbours has trees along the West side of the fence, creating a lot of shade for your furbabies. The second neighbour has a tall fence up for privacy. There’s a picnic table available for you to use - this is where you’ll find extra poop bags and bug repellent, and also a small bistro set off to the side by the gate that you’re welcomed to sit at too. Help yourself to the dog treats on the picnic table, dog treats, and toys that are available in the purple bin, as well as the pile of sticks for fetch. Those things can be found along the back of my house. We have some agility equipment - an all seasons commercial fibreglass tunnel, and a big wooden spool with a wooden bench to walk along. Feel free to bring some kibble to toss in the pool noodle pool! It’s a great enrichment activity for your dog(s) - trying to search for the kibble through the pool noodle pieces. The pool noodle pool is available, weather permitting. There’s also fresh drinking water for your dog(s) with a hose nearby to refill the bowl, and a small garbage bin provided for any waste. Please note that there is a neighbour dog who is out in his fenced in yard. Also, I am able to put my chickens in the coop before you come. I am VERY open to suggestions or ideas to improve our spot via chat. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or ideas. We have Silkie chickens that stay in their fenced in area on the East side of the property. Nobody around here minds if your dogs bark at them. If you feel the chickens would be too distracting for your dog(s), please let me know and I can try and get them into the coop during your stay. There are great ponds for swimming and Cow Creek near the back 20 acres to play in, a wetland area has been recently installed by a nature conservation group. We ask folks to keep dogs on leash through the front 5 acres where we grow organic vegetables. Please do not enter the greenhouses or barn. Please stay out of the crops and garden beds.
