Make sure your baby come into the yard on a leash. Close gate before you take leash off. We have our own babies but they will be inside as you spend time with your baby. If they look out the window and bark, don’t mind them. They ar what saying hi and wants you to touch them. Ohh they love being scratch and touch.

Hello all. My name is Kelly and I am a parent to two big bully babies. Rough tough looking but they are two of the biggest babies out there. Scratches, hugs, snacks, more snacks and sleep is all they want. Biggest babies I know and love. In addition my family also foster dogs in need from time to time. It’s a great feeling giving our home to a pup in need waiting for thier forever home. We are register with coco rescue out in Robert’s Wi and been fostering for 2 yrs. Occasionally from our window, as a guest of ours you will see them all stare out the window. If they are barking don’t mind them. Probably just want say hi what are you doing here. Bring your fur baby and let them sniff and run around in our yard. If you see a ball laying around, go right ahead with it.

The yard has a lot of space for running and playing catch. There is a large area of sand that dogs can dig and play in. Yard is fully fenched with fabric on the fence to keep dogs focused in the yard. We have seen deer, racoons, possum, wild turkies, bunnies and tons of squirrels run through our yard.

Winter Update 2025/2026 - still open for sniffs! We’ve taken down the hammock and the sunshade on the gazebo, and put the pool away… but still open for sniffing fun! Nearly 1/3 of an acre in Roseville available for your dog to sniff until their heart’s content! Open mowed grassy area wide enough for zoomies and long enough for fetch, as well as natural/unmanicured shaded areas for “jungle sniffari’s”. Not far off of Highway 36 and 35E, enjoy the perks of room to run while having the privacy of your own space. Plenty of seating for humans underneath a shaded gazebo, with a table and basic amenities for guest use. Please be aware that we do have other dogs in the neighborhood. This includes our direct neighbors to the north, who we share a chain link fence with. If you are visiting on an evening or weekend, there’s a good chance their dog will be outside also! Be careful of any ice that may be around - the “grippy stuff” I put down is cat litter for traction… totally dog safe!

Acker's 10 Acre Private Dog Park In Afton
We are about a quarter mile off the main road and our 10 acres go deeper into the woods. We have about 5 acres of wooded areas and 5 acres of open trails. It is a beautiful and private property. The property is 100% fenced- the fencing is 3 feet high- there is a gate in the driveway, once closed it is completely fenced in. We have water available for dogs- due to the cold weather, please message me if you want water available during your visit and I will put it out ahead of time if I am home.
