Let’s keep our spot clean and comfortable for all our furry visitors! Leashing and Safety First: • Keep your dog leashed at all times when entering and leaving. This helps us ensure safety and control for everyone’s peace of mind, especially for dogs with medical or behavioral needs. No Mixing, Individual Play Only: • Dogs from different households should not be in the yard at the same time. This is particularly important for dogs who may be anxious or reactive, ensuring a stress-free environment. Health and Wellness Check: • Ensure your furry friend is up to date on vaccinations, including rabies, bordetella, and distemper. We want to keep all our pups healthy and happy during their stay. Emergency Preparedness and Contact Information: • Know the location of the nearest vet and emergency services, and please provide us with your contact information in case of an emergency. Respect and Communication: • Please communicate openly and respectfully with hosts and other visitors. Let us know of any special needs or concerns your dog may have so we can provide the best care possible. Weather Awareness and Comfort: • Be prepared for changing weather conditions. Looking for the perfect escape with your furry companion? Our 11-acre property offers the ideal setting for you and your dogs to explore, unwind, and enjoy the great outdoors. Surrounded by scenic views and wide-open spaces, it’s a natural haven for adventurous pups and their humans alike. Winding trails weave through the land, providing plenty of room to roam. Most guests spend about an hour here—walking the 20–30 minute trail loops and then relaxing by the water or letting their dogs play. It’s a great way to enjoy fresh air, peaceful nature, and some quality time with your four-legged friend. We’re always working to enhance the experience, and we plan to add even more trail options this summer—so there will be more to discover on your next visit! A quick note: the trails can get muddy during rainy or winter months, so we recommend wearing boots. The pond is not maintained, and guests who choose to enter the water do so at their own risk. We’re also continuing to mark property lines and add signage to help everyone feel comfortable and informed during their visit.

NOTE we have had a few recent issues with folks being sent to the wrong location while using Apple Maps. If you are having trouble locating us we suggest using Waze or Google Maps as an alternative. The driveway is well marked with Sniffspot signs. Fully fenced, lightly wooded yard, about an acre. Paths around perimeter and throughout. Barn with kennels in case you need to separate dogs or get in out of the weather. Plenty of shade. The property contains many boulders, tree stumps, logs and leaves for your dog to explore, and lots of room to run. Please wear sturdy shoes or boots and watch your step. There may be roots, rocks, holes or the occasional poop hiding under the leaves. Several of our guests have seen deer on the path to the SniffSpot gate. We strongly recommend keeping your dogs leashed until you are safely inside the fenced area.
