Description

The 5 acre sniff spot is conveniently located in south Lafayette. Land is an open area perfect for your pup to run around. There is plenty of space for training dogs or fetching. The land is partially fenced. There is access to a water faucet by the main house if needed to get water for your pup. When you enter the driveway you can park on the gravel area to the right or the left side by either house. Please don’t block driveway or any vehicles. After parking you can continue straight back to the land (pasture) and enjoy the large open area!! You can bring a chair if you would like and find some shade to sit and relax. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance. The grass is kept short like one would keep their yard. At times grass may be taller if it rains a lot and I can’t cut the grass.

Please keep an eye on your pup at all times and keep peace with the neighbors. Please pickup all trash and toys (or other items you may use to train or play). There is a trash can by the main house you can put your trash in. Please do not enter any buildings or barns on the property and do not climb on any trees or buildings.

Hi! My name is Angel, a mother to my 16 yr old daughter and a 1 1/2 yr old Mini Australia Shepherd named Daisy Duke! I decided to list my 5 acres on Sniff Spot to share the wide open field/pasture with pup owners who don’t have places to go on the Southside of Lafayette. My property isn’t much, but it has been my slice of heaven my entire life. You will see old barns on the property that have seen better days, but soon to both be restored! Hopefully your pup enjoys the open space as much as mine does!

(Humans are welcome to swim if you choose) A quarter mile walking track goes completely around the pond. There are signs from both main roads directing you to the property. We have a beagle trainer who brings dogs out to scent train so there are areas with taller grass and brush. You are welcome to explore all areas of the property at your leisure!
