No

There will be no other dogs on my property. My dogs will NEVER be outside when sniffspot visitors are here. However, a dog may walk by on the private neighborhood road outside the property periodically with their owners. they will not be on the property but would just walk by on a country road on one side of the property. it is fully fenced there (although the fence is not a privacy fence). I have several dogs who will be inside. However if people or dogs get close to the house this may cause them to bark and you will hear them. you may hear a dog bark in the distance. since all properties out here are large acreage there is not a lot of noise so when dogs bark from far away on another property you may be able to hear it even though they are several properties away. My neighbors all have dogs. We do not share any fence lines.

Other domestic animals

No

There are no other animals on my property at this time. this is a rural place with minimum 5 acre parcels. neighbors on one side could have horses in the distance separated by my fence and theirs. my horses are currently not living here which is why i have made the place available for dogs to play. horses could also be ridden by on the private neighborhood road outside the property across from the fence and could be seen by the dogs. wild ducks and geese are periodically on ponds. the geese and ducks are wildlife not domestic animals. they will fly away if they feel the need so don't worry about them. there may be baby geese or ducklings in the late spring and early summer so if that’s a concern don’t book at that time of year.

Description

Dog Nirvana reservations can be made one week in advance on a rolling 7 day basis. In addition the spot is always closed all day Monday and Tuesday as well as Thursday from 9 to 1 for maintenance. Come enjoy yourself in the country! We have over 10 fully fenced acres that include two spring-fed private ponds for dogs that like the water, some slight hills for running and playing, lots of wide open space and a beautiful creek. There will be no dogs, people or animals outside on my property during your visit. Please just bring your own toys and pick up after your dogs. I look forward to welcoming you! * The entire 10+ acre perimeter of the property is steel mesh fencing with poles and/or steel mesh fencing in horse fencing to keep the entire perimeter secure and safe. PLEASE NOTE there are TWO FENCING SYSTEMS here -- the internal pastures that are fenced in 3 rail white fencing and the perimeter fencing which consists of steel mesh to the ground and large log poles and/or 3 rail fencing with steel mesh down to the ground. The pasture fencing is located INSIDE of the separate property perimeter fencing. If a dog runs under the white interior pasture fencing they are still secured within the perimeter system. * The front gate and a service gate are metal with horizontal rails with 6.5 inches between each rail. Smaller dogs could potentially get out through the rails. A picture of the gate is included in listing photos so that guests can assess whether the gate will be an issue for them so they can determine whether this property will be appropriate for their pup(s). * This property is pretty secluded. Two sides of the property are surrounded by conservation land (woods), one by a quiet neighborhood road (with the only house set back and not visible while on my property) and the fourth (above the house and barn) by 60 acres in two parcels. The neighbors ' horses might be seen in the distance along the upper side of my property and you might hear their dogs barking from several acres away periodically. * Several pastures have covered horse sheds in them that can be used by visitors for shelter from rain or sun. * There is a dog dish for water, a container of water, poop bags and several garbage cans for doggie poop bags! * If you bring additional guests with pups PLEASE make sure they are aware of all information/rules shared in the listing and via message by the host. * Carey Creek runs along the entire south side of the lowest pasture. It is fully useable for guests. it is on my property but outside of our secure fences so if you go out the gates at the bottom of the property to get to the creek you should leash up if your dog has poor recall. * We have access across the road from the property to 1800 + acres with 30 miles of trails on Taylor Mountain (King County Park) so make it a day and come enjoy our little slice of heaven!

Cleanliness

Hazards

HOST NOTE

This is a well maintained rural property. However there is still uneven ground, periodic downed branches, noises of the country in the distance, etc. Right now we have mole traps out in two places on the property as the moles are many and they weaken the ground. There are buried traps under two layers of protection -- the first is a hard plastic cover staked into the ground. The second is large horse water containers and troughs put over the first layer of protection. I'm sure they will be out for quite some time to resolve the issue so if this concerns you please don't book now and wait to come later. The property has 2 private ponds. If swimming in the big lower pond please keep them from swimming into the middle of the pond or across the whole pond to avoid the fountain. It comes on via a timer and is very powerful. The cables that secure it run North/South from the little structure by the pond to the fountain and across the pond to the pastures. All around the sides of the ponds is absolutely fine! Thank you. Be aware that algae can bloom during warm months. There are geese and ducks in the ponds. I don't worry about dogs chasing them as they will fly away but If you are worried about your dog chasing them it probably makes sense to look for another sniffspot. There is absolutely nothing I can do about them (I have tried believe me) so they are here on and off. The geese and ducks are wild and If chased they will fly away or hop in the pond. Ponds and other bodies of water come with potential things such as leeches, fish, etc. please be aware of this if you plan to have your dog go in the ponds. As pond vegetation grows in the summer leeches could attach to them. They aren’t harmful The waterfowl poop on the lawn around the ponds. While it is cleaned up every few days it is impossible to eliminate goose poop as the moment it is cleaned up 14 fly right back in. Deer and elk sometimes visit the property overnight and leave droppings to let us know they were here. Wild animals such as coyotes live in the area and could enter the property. This spot has a water feature, make sure to review these guidelines for visiting spots with water before visiting: https://help.sniffspot.com/article/167-how-to-keep-your-dog-safe-around-pools-and-water

Additional rules

* Three car maximum per visit. * if you are early wait OUTSIDE the main entrance gate to the property (the one you drive through when you first get here). Someone else may be out on the property with a reactive dog who might run out the gate when you open it or worse. Driving in early could create a disaster. When you enter the gate you enter the sniffspot so it is important to wait to enter until your reservation time and to also leave on time. * Please pick up after your dog. * Please do not allow dog to dig in the grass lawns or pastures or in the garden beds. * To the extent you can please focus the majority of your visit to the pasture areas as the grass there is more hardy and holds up better to rambunctious dog play. Other grassy areas are open for play as well but to help me try to keep the place nice (and keep it available as a sniffspot) it’s best to hang out in the large open pastures in the white fencing for the rowdy stuff 😊 * Please do your best to keep your dog(s) (and kids) from approaching the house or hanging around the front porch or other doors/windows. * We follow the rules of King County parks here...Please do not consume alcohol, smoke (anything) or vape during your visit. * Please refrain from going in the area on the NW Corner of the property. The barn, arena and the area behind the barn and around the arena are not part of the sniffspot as I want to make sure dogs do not accidentally go in my barn or near my barn equipment or composting facilities. * Please check for messages from the host via the sniffspot messaging system. Please respond to these messages. * Reservations will only be accepted when made by the guest who is bringing the dog (or in the case of known regulars if they notify me in advance that someone else is bringing their dog). Reservations made by people on behalf of others or by organizations on behalf of others will not be accepted. There is no ability to communicate with visitors whose reservations have been made by others so this spot cannot accept them.

I love dogs and all animals and have three boxers here who live at my ranch in Maple Valley (Hobart area). My dogs love it. I understand the need for dogs to have a place to run that is private and secure. Since my own dogs aren't outside on my place all the time I thought it would be nice to open it up so others could enjoy the space and safety. The perimeter fencing was lovingly and carefully put up to keep my own dogs safe and secure. It provides such a peaceful and safe environment. I love sharing my property with other pup parents and it has been a joy to hear from so many guests who have made special memories with their furry family members while visiting my sniffspot.

Magical Mossy Forest

Unfenced
5 acres

Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week. Please visit our Facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61555379018442 Let us know if you have any questions. Synchronized play bowing to you!

Wonderlane

Fully Fenced
2 acres

Enjoy an enchanting Pacific Northwest rainforest adventure at Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot for Dogs and Their Best Friends - Bring your friends and their dogs too! Unleash your dogs and frolic with your beloved friends in the lush embrace of our hilly Pacific Northwest natural rainforest. Wonderlane invites you and your best pals to explore 67 years of history across 2 acres of established trails, over 9 terraces, under towering old-growth trees, listening to the gentle murmur of a clear creek, accessible by your choice of 2 gates. If you wish maximum security please close the black entrance gate behind you before you park. From the parking area choose your path— the left or right trailhead gates —and meander down Flying Horse Lane or Tail Waggin' Lane to The Landing Pad, where trails weave into playful circles perfect for a game of ‘Hide and Go Seek’ or a chase! At the forest edge, Madhatter Lane invites you to a serene creek, a secret haven at our fully fenced sanctuary. For environmental reasons, the creek area is not fenced. Our hilly forested land, a tapestry of guardrails, fences, gates, natural barriers, rolling trails, springs and creeks, sometimes steep, sometimes flat, is a haven for play. We recently added a 50+ ft long Stick Library! These trails, originally created for horses, have been lovingly reclaimed from invasive brush and dead trees, now fun for paws and feet alike. We’ve ensured the future of this tranquil forest by planting more than 600 local tree saplings. The canopy of Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar, Yew, BigLeaf Maple, and Alder, filled out as soon as there was more light. These trails whisper stories of the past. In the spring flowering bushes bloom from March through early June, in the summer lush frilly leaves decorate every breeze with greenery in motion, and in the fall in October the leaves magically turn yellow, orange, red, brown, and purple. Wonderlane is more than a place; it’s an experience—a Sniffspot designed with your dog’s joy in mind. While they dash through wood chips and Pacific Northwest duff, under ferns, and around bends, you’ll enjoy the views of a 20-acre forested wetland, a living vista of nature, and plenty of chairs to sit in. This forest is alive with the songs of songbirds - sparrows, finches, thrushes, grosbeaks, and a host of other birds, such as majestic American Bald Eagles are seen here. Walk, run, or pause on our soft wide well-drained sand or woodchip paths and let the forest’s secrets reveal themselves uniquely to you. We’ve spent more than six years crafting this haven, just a mile from the South Sound, for you and your friends to run, walk, sit, and revel in the company of your pups. And when the day’s adventures are done, two Starbucks await to refresh you, 3 minutes and 5 minutes away - remember puppercinos/pup cups are free. Join our community on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or Bluesky https://bsky.app/profile/wonderlane.bsky.social or by searching for “Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot,” or ask a warm and friendly nearby AI to direct your browser to us, to see tails of joy. Wonderlane walks in the woods where nature’s heart beats, inviting you to breathe in the peaceful air, one paw print at a time! If your dog ever hesitates to leave, a ring of the Magic Chuck Waggin’ Triangle will bring them running back. Reminder in summer, or if visiting around twilight bring repellent or wear it when you drop into the forest, and if you choose, onto the creek area. This Spot is best for physically fit individuals, but although we are disabled we enjoy it whenever there's time. If you need assistance or more info, please contact us directly. Keeping Wonderlane pristine is a collective effort, and we value your help in maintaining the beauty of our shared space! We can't do this without your help. Please use the usual household garbage bin marked 'Garbage' at the driveway entrance for disposal of poo bags. Only the water hydrants at the top are open for your use, the rest are for watering during droughts. Please close water hydrants completely. Press the hydrant water handle all the way down into the completely closed position after use. If the water is not pressed completely closed, water continues to leak out the bottom of the hydrant unseen. Please close each gate. Dogs must be leashed going to and coming from the parking area, and may be unleashed when entering the dog park. We rely upon guests to contact us and tell us immediately if they need anything. To be fully fenced please roll shut the main gate after you park. There are also 2 sets of gates at the top of each trail to the Sniffspot. The forest area is fully fenced, some doubled. There are 2 gates that lead to the creek so you can control access. Please roll the Entrance gate into the open and securely hooked position when you leave, thank you! Enjoy the forest’s magic at Wonderlane. Join us at Bluesky https://bsky.app/profile/wonderlane.bsky.social or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 --------------------------------------- Thank you to the many regulars, Sniffpass holders, and new guests who clean up after their dogs so very well! Proud of our community! Thank you for closing hydrants all the way so they do not leak out the bottom and cost us all money! PS if you wonder about the fencing here, some guests want the creek fenced too, which isn't possible due to environmental reasons. *********************************** Created in memory of Rosie Lane, beloved dog. *********************************** If Wonderlane Sniffspot is booked you might LOVE our sister Sniffspot site in the forest right outside Redmond, Washington - Magical Mossy Forest - 5 acres of trails and winter creek. https://www.sniffspot.com/listings/redmond-wa/magical-mossy-forest-69904

3 Acre Fully Fenced Secluded Park In English Hill Redmond

Fully Fenced
3 acres

**We will temporarily close our spot starting from Oct. 13 for remodeling, which might take 1-2 months. ** Welcome! Our place is fully fenced with mesh wire. We have two husky mixes (who you won’t see or probably hear) who love the space and haven’t managed to find any gap in the fences to escape. Once you close the gate behind you, the whole place is for you to enjoy, including the fenced-in meadow/arena, front and back around the house. You are free to let the dogs out of your car off-leash. Most of the land is flat and accessible. There are a couple of stairs and a small slope lead to my house and the back yard. (See accessibility picture) Having two reactive dogs, I understand the significance of providing them with a safe space to unwind. We will never come out when you are here without prior communication. There are no visible neighbors or other domestic animals nearby. It’s the perfect place for the dogs to relax and decompress. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
