Description

Lovely, large fenced area that is partially shaded with big trees. Very small pond on the property. Please make sure to bring everything you’ll need to make this a fun and safe time for you and your dog. Bags are provided for picking up after your dog.

There are dogs and some farm animals next door at the neighbors. Parking provided for one vehicle, only. This spot has a water feature and may be used by dogs only. ***No humans allowed in the water.*** Turtles, fish, frogs, and other critters may be in or around the pond/property, at times. 3 random flavored, healthy, crunchy dog treats made by Blue Buffalo. Oven baked from wholesome ingredients. Biscuits are rectangular and approximately 2” x 1.75” in size. Great to break into pieces for training or use as is for a big treat!

Bring your own water, bowl, dog toys, treats, etc. Poop bags are provided…it’s a “make and take” setting. To keep the space as clean as possible, your trash and dog’s waste are to be removed and taken with you when you leave or dropped in my big red trash can near the street, please and thank you. We look forward to meeting you and your dog(s) soon! Max two adults per visit. No smoking, vaping, alcohol, or drugs allowed on the property while visiting.

Hi! I hope you enjoy our property. I’m a lifelong dog lover and owner. I have had rescues and “oops” pups, myself. Currently, I have a mixed breed and standard poodle, both are rescues.

40+ acres to explore! It’s on your left. You will go about 500’ past 800 whispering pine rd (our airbnb treehouse). Please don’t stop here but stay on the street until you see the rope and yellow no trespassing sign on your left. Park and enter here. Walk the little road until you go past the old fence with green gate and then you can walk the trails or continue up the power line to the very top. It’s far. But do not go past this tower that overlooks the horses. Have fun!

We built Poochie every dog's dream yard - a sensory and enrichment garden - with plenty of creature comforts. We love sharing Poochie Garden with all the good dogs and their humans! Turf includes short grass, large beds of taller ornamental grass as natural snuffle spots, bare dirt, and pine mulch, plus a sand Digging Garden along with varied natural rock, cobblestone, and wooden deck walking surfaces - all securely contained within a 6-foot wooden privacy fence. Our Agility Walk, Stump Walk, curated selection of toys, water play, ball pit, treat-tipping bottles, and plenty of other experiences add to your pup's best day. Bring kibble or treats to challenge your hound to the mental stimulation of a puzzle or two. Pup-safe plantings of spearmint, strawberry, catnip, wheat grass, oregano, beautyberry, and more offer your pooch plenty to explore, sniff, and nibble. Humans can rest in the chairs, bench, and hammock on the deck or in the garden and enjoy the sounds of a waterfall, wind chimes, and birds while your pooch plays. Seasonal and static picturesque photo ops are plentiful! Include a human friend or two and their dogs in your reservation if you'd like to share the garden experience! Bring coffee or takeout from a local restaurant - or enjoy refreshments from our Coffee Bar~k! We are located close to I-30 and I-40 to make a perfect road-trip rest stop. The garden is fully lit, so you can even enjoy it after dusk. We offer a PAWty package to celebrate special occasions and a DIY Garden Bath as add-ons to complete your booking. Look in the Extras section for details. Poochie Garden is a certified Wildlife Habitat, so you may encounter birds, rabbits, toads, butterflies, spiders, bees, and other friends while you visit. Please enjoy their presence and do no harm. We typically accept bookings up to 2 weeks in advance. Message if you have a special date to reserve with more notice, and we will try to accommodate. Dog-Friendly Hangout Spot! Looking for a chill backyard to hang out with your pup? Come by and enjoy our cozy, pet-friendly space! The yard is mostly fenced, quiet, and perfect for letting your dog run and play while you relax. We’ve got egg chairs, a small fire pit, and plenty of open space. My own two dogs stay inside during the day, so the yard is usually free. There are neighbor dogs nearby, but they stay on their side and we’ve never had any issues. This isn’t a drop-off spot owners must stay with their dogs. It’s just a peaceful space to enjoy some outdoor time together.
