Facebook video for property description! https://www.facebook.com/reel/857593750109937 This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! In the summer, though, the creek dries up until the fall rains come. You can always message us to find out if there is water in the creek before your visit. There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

HOST NOTE

It’s the woods! Briars, roots, vines, ticks, wild blackberry bushes, mole holes in some of the open spots, wet areas, poison ivy, creek, swimming hole. Nature! In the summer and in times of drought, the creek does dry up completely due to lack of water feeding from the pond on the property next door. This is unpredictable so if the water being present is important to you, please message us to inquire about the water situation if you think there may be a question about whether or not the creek is running. I would like to meet guests before their first visit to show them options for parking and the general lay of the land. Anyone that is interested in using the agility equipment is required to have had at least a beginner's course in agility before being allowed to use the equipment. This is an important safety issue.

Minutes from 485/Lawyers Rd - easy to find, easy to get to!
