IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Small area - huge entertainment! Hi friend! Bring your pup to sniff and run at our home in Ngaruawahia! We have a local dog walking and boarding business - now offering stop in visits for those who'd like a secure yard (and maybe even a friend?) to offer their dog some variety. We have a grass area for fetching, a bank with fruit trees and long grass for sniffing and digging, a "race track" around the house - custom made by the dogs themselves 🤣 and a small kids paddling pool to soak in. There's a variety of toys available or bring your own! Our personal dog Cash lives at the property - he is very well socialized and makes a great friend for confident and friendly dogs. We can make him available for those who'd like some companionship on their visit... or if you'd prefer to have the space to yourselves, we can accommodate that also! Property is bordered on all sides by 1.5 to 1.8m fencing. The fence at the bottom of the property isn't esthetically pleasing but is functional! Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions- we'd love to welcome you and your dog to our sniffspot! Aisha

Please get in touch prior to booking if you have a reactive dog and would like privacy. Please keep gate latched at all times. Please do not allow your dog to dig on our lawn - down the bank is fine as long as it's not damaging trees. Please let us know of there is any damage. Thank you

DO NOT ACCESS OTHER PADDOCKS. Peaceful & serene it is the perfect place for offleash zoomies & exploring. This spot offers a true outdoor adventure type of walk, expect your dog to go home content & ready for a snooze. The place offers wide open spaces, gentle contour which keeps things interesting, a small creek that fills via tap & rain water, water troughs to dip in, plenty of space to explore. A hose is available to clean your dog off after their adventure at the front of the stables (dogs will need to be leashed), gated entry with a dog waste bin by the entry gate. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD BarkPark is a 20 acre working farm with a mixture of rolling hills and flat paddocks. Walk through the native bush where wood pigeons and tui fly. Native ferns frame the creeks running through the bush. There are plenty of picnic spots under large Totara trees where you can sit and watch your dog have a swim in the pond. On your journey you will see cattle, geese, ducks, turkeys, pukako, rabbits and native birds, and carp in the pond. The entire time will be for you and your dog as each session is pre booked for a specific time slot. We have 3 spoilt dogs which will be indoors for your visit and aviaries with parrots which will hear as you drive past the house up the farm track to commence your journey.

A great location for both owners and dogs to unwind, featuring a creek bordered by native trees that have stood for centuries. There are park benches available for you to sit back and relax and a dedicated area for your dogs to swim and cool off on a hot summers day. Winter brings three water features for water-loving dogs: a year-round creek which is deep and wide perfect for swimming , a shallow wading pool with muddy areas which forms at the base of the slope after heavy rain and a shallow fresh-water running stream with a small water feature near the entrance paddock / bridge. Dogs are welcome to enjoy all three! Notes for guests to be aware of: With all the rain recently make sure to wear appropriate shoes as some parts can be a bit muddy. The bank next to the creek has several steep slopes that drop down to the water, so please exercise caution if you have children with you. Unfortunately we no longer provide dog toys as they all go missing, sometimes the same day they are put out! We usually provide a good stack of sticks for dogs to enjoy though 🙂
