Description

I have been boarding dogs at my home for 10 years, so the sniffing in my backyard is better than a fine wine! I have a fenced yard, with an ornamental iron gate, looking out to the front yard/street, which the dogs love, as well as an ornamental iron “window”, abutting the pool, which allows for a bark-fest with the Corgis next door. I have a large shade-structure umbrella on my upper pool deck, as well as a glider, for owner use. Hose is always on, with flower sprayer attachment, for (re)filling water bowl, or spray-cleaning pee on pool deck.

I do have a pool, with no fencing around the perimeter of the pool. And I am an avid gardener, with a few cactus/succulents in my garden or pots.

I have been boarding dogs at my house on the Rover.com platform for 10 years, before it was Rover, and it was called DogVacay. I taught environmental science at the Plano Independent School District’s Outdoor Learning Center for 23 years, and I was an Education Instructor at the Dallas Zoo, and a Children’s Program Teacher at the Dallas Arboretum, as well. In the course of my work at the Outdoor Learning Center, and the Dallas Zoo, I completed animal handling training.
