Additional rules
1. Please park inside Barks and Recreation and securely latch the gate behind you before allowing your dog/s out of your vehicle.
2. It is advisable to do a quick check of the fence line before allowing your dog out of your vehicle or off leash.
3. Please bring fresh water for your dog (a bowl is provided).
4. Please note that our property is bordered by public roads on all sides. As such, we may experience litter being thrown/blowing through the fence. It is your responsibility to check for litter and ensure your dog does not come to any harm as a result of any litter.
5. Our property is fenced with palisade fencing. Please do not allow your dogs off leash if they are small enough to fit through a palisade fence.
6. Please clean up after your dog. Please bring poop bags with you for this purpose. A dustbin is provided for you to dispose of used poop bags.
7. Please do not leave any dog treats (or human food) behind. We may have dogs with dietary restrictions using our park and we would like to ensure we provide a safe space for them.
8. Please ensure that you vacate the Barks and Recreation property timeously at the end of your booked slot to allow the next user access.
9. Please be considerate of the school and church with which we share a property. Please avoid making excessive noise during school hours and Sunday services. Please be aware that children may be crossing the road and that the access road may be busy with school transport vehicles at school start and end times.
10. Please use your discretion when allowing your dog to play on obstacles and equipment in the park. Please do not allow children to play on the equipment.
