Welcome to our Private Shady Backyard Sniffspot – Just Minutes from UNCW! This centrally located Sniffspot features a spacious, fully fenced backyard bursting with natural overgrowth and shady nooks—perfect for curious pups who love to sniff, explore, and roam freely. It’s a peaceful, private space that offers a truly enriching experience for your dog. Access & Parking: To enter, head through the wooden gates and then the chain-link fence. You're welcome to park anywhere in the driveway. What Makes This Spot Special: 🌿 Pesticide- and Fertilizer-Free: We keep our yard completely free of chemicals, making it a safe and natural environment for dogs to explore. 🌳 Plenty of Shade & Vegetation: Ideal for hot days and scent-driven adventures. 💧 Hose Access: Use the hose to cool off, hydrate your pup, or enjoy a little water play—just be sure to turn it off when you're done. 🪑 Porch Seating: Chairs are typically out for your use, but if they’ve been brought in during a storm, feel free to grab them from the screened-in porch. 🦟 Bug Spray Available: Summers can get buggy! I try to keep bug spray on the porch for guests, but you're also welcome to bring your own. 💩 Clean-Up Tools Provided: Please pick up after your pup. A metal waste bin with a lid is located in the yard, and there’s a shovel available if you don’t have bags. We hope you and your pup enjoy the privacy, shade, and sniffing at Overgrown Oasis. My yard is fully privacy fenced! I have toys outside; Balls, a tug of war ring, 2 kiddie sized pools and a splash pad. It’s a decent size yard to throw a ball from one end to the other. I have a friendly medium sized boxer mix and we play ball every day. She loves it! She will not be let out while you are here. You’ll have the yard to yourself. Enjoy the gas fire pit, chairs, hammock swing, and hammock. My girl potty’s around the parameters of the yard but I keep it cleaned up. You may hear the neighbors dogs when they are outside but they don’t come out too often.
