Description

Our backyard is your backyard! Let your dog(s) run and play in our fully fenced backyard. You can relax while they play - it’s very peaceful. We do have neighbor dogs on one side but they are seldom outside. Spring to Fall there’s a comfy seating area. Summer means the sprinkler and kiddie pool! Our gardens (fenced off from dogs) are yours to enjoy. Come, sit, stay a while as your dogs release that pent up energy. It’s fun in the snow! Our yard can be muddy in wet seasons, bring towels for dog wipe down during those times please.

Please pick up dog poop from your pupper! For everyone’s sake: 1) Check to ensure my dogs are safely inside prior to entering with your dogs (you will see them at the gate if they are outside!). 2) Please have your pets up to date on their vetting. No fleas, please! 3) If you use the hose, please turn it off after use.

A private 2 acre-fully fenced yard with horses and chickens coming home in fall of 2025. We get plenty of wild animals in our yard and have dogs of our own so there are PLENTY! Of smells for your pets to enjoy. All humans and pets will stay inside for your visit unless requested otherwise. Please note* -this is our personal yard/home and active farm that we’re constantly working on as the property was built in 1801. I am not a professional/commercial dog park and do it for the joy that I can share with other pets/owners and the extra income since managing a property this large is expensive. -Please have patience, respect and kindness for me as I will for you too :) At times we may need to leave out of the front yard but will not enter the sniff zone for your booking. - we do have dogs of our own so if you get near the garage or house, they will bark but won’t be visible. - We may need to enter/leave the house during your booking but will only do so through the front yard. We will never enter the fenced sniff spot during your reservation but you may see/hear us in the front yard if we need to leave. I have a water bowl, toys, poop bags, chairs for humans, a nice patio to sit on, picnic table, and a fire pit patio with string lights all available for use! Hand sanitizer is also available and if it rains, we will open up the garage for a rain shelter with chairs! We do not use any pesticides or fertilizer on our property but will spray for ticks in the spring and summer. We cut the grass 1-2x per week but even more in the spring to keep the grass super short and our house sits on top of a hill for added exercise. When we get a lot of rain, a small pond forms in the back of the yard (pictured) but it’s not there in the extreme summer heat. Happy to accommodate, please let me know if you have any questions!

If you’d like to rent our adjacent space with a swimming pool, please contact us to make arrangements. The pool bay is not included with the standard SniffSpot rental. *The HVAC will keep the space more comfortable than outdoors, but it will be kept set around 55-60. * We use a chlorine based cleaner between each visit to keep our guests as safe as possible. This is less harsh than other options while being just as effective, food safe, and contact safe for pups and companions. The result is the area may smell like an indoor pool. Some guests may be sensitive to this smell.
