A plate covered with peanut butter and then various, healthy, dog friendly treats sprinkled onto the plate. The plate is then placed in a bowl of water. The dogs enjoy chasing their treats, not the bowl for a while and their brains are fully engaged
A frozen treat is a great way to wind down from a romp around the yard! It can be ready at arrival, or just outside the fence at departure. Just let me know!

We know the apartment life well. It meant a lot of 3a trips to the dog park. When we found this house, with this yard, it was a no brainer. We love that our space can be shared with your furry family. Check out our extras for an enhanced visit!
This delightful old orchard is a paradise for adventurous pups. It has large grassy areas, a greenbelt, lots of mole hills, rabbits to sniff in the bushes. Perfect for recall training or a game of hide and seek. During the wet season you’ll definitely want to wear boots!
$5 off your first visit! Use Code: Lori12 If your dog loves to sniff, roam, fetch, or just relax, this is the place. This 3/4 acre site is perfectly situated between Tacoma and Puyallup on a quiet dead end road in the Summit/Waller area. Easy to find, separate access, off street parking, dog toys, plastic pool for dogs to cool off, access to hose water, even a covered deck with chairs and a propane fire place for those rainy days. Weekend bonfires through February, and a gas firepit available for heat during the cold weather. Humans have their own free Keurig and snack bar. Sit back, relax, and let your pet enjoy some play time. On clear days Mt Rainier makes an appearance and it spectacular. Night lighting for those short winter daylight hours.
2.1 acres of fully-fenced heaven. As a dog owner/lover, this provides a necessary peace of mind. Pull inside the gate, and let ‘em lose! Poop happens typically w/in first 10 mins; bags can be disposed in trash. Hose water available by front door, back patio, and chicken coop area. All areas are fair game once you are inside the gate. Once a stop on the Gig Harbor Garden Tour, this property boasts a variety of terrain to keep your pup(s) busy for hours. We are at the end of a private lane, and the back of the property abuts to 50 acres of DNR. Sightings of cattle, wild peacocks, deer, raccoons and grouse are common. Make yourself (and family) at home around the fire pit, small orchard, tree house, trampoline, flagstone paths and trails. Good shoes highly recommended. NOTE: Sniffspot is promoting their “Sniffpass”, and they have the box automatically checked to “Opt in” when you make a booking. This is out of my control. I do not want my guests to feel Sniffpass is necessary to book my spot. Please uncheck that box if you are not interested to avoid unnecessary “surprise” charges upon checkout (unless you want to subscribe, which is totally ok too!).
great neighborhood on dead end road lots of wild animals come around, deer, squirrels, pheasant,, grouse, sheep are nearby in eyesight.
Tucked off main road, a surprisingly country setting in the heart of Tacoma. Deer, rabbits, hawks, and coyotes (at night) and lots of good sniffing opportunities for your furry friend! Please note there are water bowls, some toys, poo bucket, and extra poo bags under the big apple tree by the garage.
This spot is a 1/2 acre rough pasture with a bench, fruit trees, a tree swing and woods surrounded by greenbelt. It is fully fenced and gated although if your dog is small and escape-minded it may do so because it is wire field fence, not board fence. Please park in front of the garage and keep your dog leashed until you reach the pasture area at the back of the property. Enjoy!
Please come and let your dogs run and play on our little piece of heaven! Feel free to bring a book or laptop and enjoy yourself on our covered back patio area while your dog/s enjoy the fully fenced property. Bring a few supplies, and enjoy a campfire in the fire-pit if you wish as well. Launch a ball from one end of the field to the other, watch the chickens peck and scratch, or simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings in a fully fenced, dog friendly area.
We have a giant hill leading down to a majority of our property. Then it's open grass field and some forested area with only one neighboring house visible. It's common to see deer, rabbits, and Eagles. People and dogs can get a great workout on the hill, or you can throw a ball from the top and leave the workout to the dog.
Doggo paradise. Over one acre fully fenced yard. Full of great smells and even better area for running. Explore the wooded area or stay in the grassy sections. Please pick up after your pet. If you forget baggies, there is a pooper scooper between the rain barrels in the back next to the house. See pics. Property under video surveillance for the protection of all parties. Please pick up after your dog(s).
