Benches, tables, chairs. Activities: Walk, run, off road bike, yoga, cross skiing, snowshoe, agility, herding (bring your own sheep ), search, Frisbee, scent work, etc. Wildlife: Deer, many birds- hawks, vultures, turkeys, various song birds, rabbits, raccoons, groundhogs, squirrels. Access for with trucks, trailers, equipment, sheep, dogs, etc. 14’ gate and a 4’ gate walk-in. The entire 10+ acres (we used to have horses, cows and sheep) is fenced (4’ farm fence). For now, feel free to wonder the entire fenced 10 acres. For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. I am often available if needed for questions or help. We welcome suggestions! Enjoy! Winter: This Sniffspot will be open all winter. ***The snow isn’t always plowed immediately. We do our best. You may have to walk from the road (if the city also has plowed). Use your discretion. Be safe! ***There is a heated bucket for winter. After freeze temperatures begin, there won’t be a hose available.

Area 2, Blue Cone, North Field is for individuals that want some 1 on 1 time with their best furry friend(s). Please be aware other dog owners may have rented the same time slot on Area 1 the adjacent field. The North Fully Enclosed Field has 6' fencing and is fully secure preventing escape. Overall Site Description - Two separate (side-by-side) fully enclosed softball fields that also serve as a semi-private exercise park for dogs. The grassy outfield and secure fencing provide plenty of room for dogs to run and play, while owners can enjoy the open surroundings. With no permanent shade structures, visitors often bring their own chairs or canopies. To maintain the looking clean fields, please pick up dog waste, children play here too. Thank you!

Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. There’s trash cans outside the gate for poop bag disposal, poop bags available for use, table/chairs/umbrella for relaxing, and kid toys such as sand box, trampoline and soccer net available for use. I run a pet sitting business out of my home and frequently have other friendly playful dogs over. I can keep them in, or I can let them out for extra play time and exercise. The yard is maintained weekly, and no weed killer, fertilizer, or pesticides of any type are used.

NOTE: Please bring your own water, as we don’t have a water spigot out back. Special note for June and July: it’s mulberry season, and boy have we got ‘em (fortunately they are not toxic to dogs). Please note that our parking spot and part of our Sniffspot are covered by mulberry trees, so you *will* get berries on your shoes. Dress accordingly! 👍🏼
