Black Dog Farmstead Beach

Welcome to our private beach on the Buffalo River! The river is slow moving, shallow and all sand. It is about 1-2 feet deep near our beach, and deeper on the opposite side of the river. In heavy rain, it ebbs and flows in depths. You will park and walk to the beach on wooded trails about 600 feet to the beach. The SniffSpot availability is limited to the beach only, and not the rest of our property.

Country Sights and Sounds

A beautiful mix of field, woods, and wetland, let your pup(s) run off that energy! The field trail is almost a 0.5 mi loop, but add on an extra trail to get more of your steps in! A short out-and-back path surrounded by tall wetland grass will lead you to a cool, clean segment of Lowes Creek (when it is dry enough for us to mow the trail…boots recommended!). Every season is special and accessible! Let them run & explore over 3 acres in the country. Mowed grass plus pastures to scope out. Let the Zoomies take over! Across from a campground for those campers that need a dog space too. Private drive to back yard - Use the driveway past the house to get into the back yard

Sniffspot Fairchild

** We are open and accepting bookings on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Years Day. ** 23 acres enclosed with 4' high woven wire fence, a mix of open field and heavy woods, sometimes turkey, grouse, gophers, and bunnies, lots of "sniff therapy"! Private entrance is shaded with easy access right onto the wooded trails! The portapotty and dog rinse station are located in the parking area. We have bug sprays and poop bags at the entrance and the far end of the field for you to use if needed. Special visitation hours or larger groups may be available under prior arrangement. Shoot us a message, and we can usually make larger groups or people traveling to/from dog competitions happen! For those traveling, we might also be able to accommodate visits outside of our normal hours. ***now that we have freezing temps at night, we are not leaving water out in the field.***

Wheaton Wild

There are 15 acres of native prairie grasses and plants. There are a few trees and rolling hills. There is approximately 1.5 miles of mowed trails that loop and connect, creating several options for new routes for each visit. There is also an outhouse available if needed. However, it is within our normally private area, so dogs must be on leashes and there are hooks for leashes while in use.

Enjoy your dog at Paws Abilities Dog Training! We offer classes, private lessons, and more... and when we don't have anything scheduled, you and your dog can enjoy our training space! *Do you have a dog that marks? Bring them in a diaper or belly band to help keep our space clean and safe!* Please note: the space can only be used for Sniffspot rentals when the facility is completely free. Therefore, availability is highly reliant on class schedule, private lesson schedule, and trainer availability. We are unable to list rental time slots more than 30 days in advance. Zeke's Playground

About 3.5 acres fenced in, some yard, some woods for your dogs to explore. A hiking trail as well. On weekdays we would prefer 4-8 hours notice so we can make sure our dogs are secured in the house. We have dog toys for your use just please return them to the tote after use. Sometimes we have trees fall on our fence, if you see it let us know so we can fix it asap.
