55A great spot in the country! There are a couple of shady areas in an open field with tall grasses. The host cut large paths in a thoughtful way that maximized the lengths of the walking paths. My dogs had fun on the paths, in the tall grasses and the shady areas. At one point, we just relaxed together under the trees in back. My dogs are working Malinois, so I cherish any relaxing time together! I think part of the reason they were so calm (after awhile) was because I felt calm and safe. Everything felt secure, so I could really relax. I felt very welcome with a sign showing we where to park and where to enter the fenced area. Parking and then backing out was easy, which is important for me since I have an extended SUV. The property was clean and safe and exactly as described. In general, it’s always a good idea to check out the area before bringing your dogs out of the vehicle. I did that, but next time I’ll also bring our toys and water when I do so. (Sniff Spot rookie here!). The fenced area is behind the house and barn and is not visible from the parking area or the road. That’s a plus, but it’s good to keep in mind as you plan your time here. On the way to the entrance from your vehicle, you will pass the chickens’ home. It appears the chickens are well socialized because of the way they continue to go about their business as you walk by. They are calm and therefore walking by did not create any drama. My dogs noted them but were not concerned or excited by them. If you are working on calm behavior around small animals, this is a good place to do that. This is not actually a problem for us, but I was still surprised how easy it was to walk by the chickens. We heard some barking in the distance. At one point, my dogs noted it without concern. The host is very welcoming and nice. I was worried about fence fighting because of one of the comments here. He explained that the neighbor is now doing a good job keeping that dog away from the fence. As I mentioned above, my dogs and I felt safe and sound the entire time. Description

We have a 2 acre fenced pasture behind the house. The grass may be long, however, will be occasionally cut so shouldn’t be crazy. Your dog and shoes may get muddy after rainy days. Please plan ahead. The fenced area is entered on the right side of the property through swinging gates. Owners of small dogs may want to be careful near the gates as the openings are large enough for small dogs to get through.

Bonny's 10 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Brownsburg

Our property is a mix of 2 open pastures, and trails through the woods. There is a smaller totally fenced in area (former goat enclosure) that’s great for working on recall and scent work. We have 2 houses with yards at the address. Simply follow the driveway past the yards to the Spot behind. When you see the white barn, you’re there! Feel free to roam and play. Off leash is fine as long as your friend has good recall. Our dogs have their own fenced yards up at the houses. Our property borders a riding stable on one side, so you may see horses and riders. On the other side of the property is a shooting range (about a mile away) so if your pooch is gun shy be aware you could hear shots.

This 5+ acre parcel is full of fallow field fun for you and your pets! This farm is also a certified wildlife habitat, so it's great for birding if you enjoy that! Humans can stay on the mowed pathways while the dogs roam the open fields. Active farming activities including beehives, vegetable growing areas and bramble patch are some of the farming activities you might encounter! While the area is only partially fenced, a large ditch to the south, creek to the north, and natural wooded boundaries define the edges of the parcel. Recommended for dogs on leash or under good voice control as a nearby road is quite busy. Feel free to view the growing areas and honeybee activity, but please do not allow dogs to enter or dig in active crop areas nor molest the beehive located in the far SW corner of the property.
