Description

People have occasionally been showing up around the lake - please be aware of this We do test for blue green algae (scroll to picture 5) and we tested NEGATIVE. The lake is safe and not suffering from any toxic algae blooms. Does your dog love to run? Love to swim? Love to chill in the shade? We have it all! Enjoy 3 acres of fenced in land to run around, a private lake for your pup to swim in or do some dock diving, and a bamboo forest perfect for getting some shade and feeling at peace. We have an active train that can run nearby twice a day. Most dogs don't mind, but if yours does, be mindful that it can show up (: Two people per dog please maximum! Any additional people should be added under "extras". --- 2025 - REOPENED Hello guests! We have re-opened our spot - so many people have reached out, it's been hard to not allow bookings. Although the app is still problematic, we will work with you to find a solution. Please understand our slow responses are due to the app. IMPORTANT NOTE TO GUESTS I struggle with chronic illness / an autoimmune disease that often has me sidelined. I do my best to keep up outside, but please excuse me, or message me when there are things not so aesthetically pleasing, I will do my absolute best to mend to it as soon as possible. I really appreciate all of you for bringing your pups out, you're great parents for it. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy your time <3

Lake area is not fenced but only poses an issue if your dog chooses to swim across the whole lake (not recommended) and then gets out on the other side. If your dog is a wanderer, we recommend a long lead.

No fishing under any circumstances!! No people in the lake! PLEASE DO NOT THROW ANY TOYS IN THE LAKE THAT YOU CANNOT RETRIEVE YOURSELF IF YOUR DOG DECIDES NOT TO GET IT! **If you're standing by the lake and facing the house, to the left of the porch there is a hose you can use to refill your pups water. The yellow handle turns to the right. PLEASE be sure to not let the water continue to come out of the hose while you're not using it as you'll deplete our well water (:** -Pick up all poop that may be left at the house, we do have doggy bags as well as a pooper scooper and a trash can to toss them into. -Do not use the boats at all -Throw away any trash/recycling in the appropriate container, no littering -If you smoke at all please keep it away from the house as we don't want the smell going in there and please be very very mindful when you put the cigarette out. Risk of wildfires are high here!

Issabella: I started sniff spot because I knew I had a great property to offer dogs that can't go out as easily as others. I love giving this space to pups and their great families. I struggle with chronic illness and do my best to keep the spot together but trying to get through the day takes most of my energy. I hope our guests can understand and have compassion 💕

Welcome to our 1 acre fully fenced private dog park! Some quick tips, make sure to look for our brick driveway as some GPS systems will navigate to our neighbors house. The gates are cattle style gates, to enter the backyard lift straight up on the back metal lever and push forward. Our fencing is mostly split rail fencing with some privacy fencing as well. There is wire around the entire perimeter to ensure safety. If you have extra small or toy size dogs I would recommend caution, but the fence is secure. We occasionally hear some dogs barking in our neighborhood, and my dogs on occasion but rarely may bark as well. I would also note that there are a few indoor/outdoor cats in our neighborhood that can be seen from time to time. A couple of further notes to be aware of. First off, this is not a small yard that is perfectly kept with 100% grass coverage. It is a very large field with some large trees especially in the back. Because of that, if we get heavy rain it will likely be a bit soggy, and there might be some spots of mud. This is mostly noticeable in the cooler months, but even in the summer if we get enough rain it is possible. If you have any issues with your dogs running and playing in a large field/wooded environment after heavy rainfall please be aware and schedule accordingly! Another note is there is a train that runs along the back of the house beyond the fence up on the hill. The dogs never seem to mind it though, we actually like it! Other than that, it is a very quiet neighborhood. I hope you enjoy!
