Description

Buster was a 16 year-old dog who passed away while running in his sleep on July 25, 2025. He enjoyed his field with family dogs his entire life. He was the last one as I am at an age now where I probably won't be getting another dog; so, I want others to enjoy the land. After the first freeze, I drain the interior pipes and hot water heater to the wash stall inside the barn, there is however a 12-month frost free outdoor fountain on the back side of the barn by the woods with a water trough and plenty of electric outlets. I mowed a trail around the perimeter that is about .4 miles for a walk / run around the inside of the perimeter of the five acre field (.2 miles if you cut through the middle to avoid the little hill on the side next to the houses on the road). Born and raised here, I bought the family house and barn from my siblings after my mother passed away in 2020. She loved her horses and dogs (at one time she had six German Shepherds).. My boy Buster was 16 when he passed away in his sleep and having your dog(s) run around in his field like he used to makes me happy, so I thought this would be a nice way to share the land and honor his memory.
