Welcome to Fun in Freeville: Fenced Yard Edition! Our property includes a 2,500 sq. ft. fully fenced-in yard, a larger open field, and a 5-acre trail. The yard includes deck access and seating. There is a large umbrella for shade and rain in the summer. The ground in the yard is pretty flat and mostly grass. The open space in the back is also grass with some trees and bushes. It can get a little muddy during very wet times of the year but there is a hose available. There is a kiddie pool in the yard for your pup to cool down in the summer. We have a small fire pit in the yard if you want to start a fire in cooler weather. There's also a large fire pit on the trail with bench seating and a picnic table. Bring your binoculars if you enjoy birding. We have lots of hummingbirds in the summer and have seen barred owls on the trail. Please let us know if you're interested in having a fire or want to know if the pool is out. We'd be happy to start a fire for you if we're available or ensure the kiddie pool has fresh water. This setting is perfect for a leisurely walk/run, photo opportunities in the grass/wildflowers or with the three large oak trees as a backdrop! We often share our fields with all sorts of wildlife including Bald Eagles, Osprey, geese, pheasants, deer, owls, hawks, song birds of all varieties and the occasional partridge! If your dog likes to swim after a walk, there is a swimming spot near the Dead Creek bridge! Parking is on our 1st field road right after the Dead Creek bridge, and is directly off County Route 46. The parking area is marked in the photos. **We ask that you please park near the road and do not drive down the field road when it’s wet. We would also greatly appreciate you driving on the field road and not in the hay fields. Thank you! **The east portion of the field does have 2 paddocks of hot electric fence- it is easy to see the wire and posts. We do have beef cows/calves and large pigs that are sometimes near the fence line- they are friendly and use to dogs; however, we strongly discourage attempting to pet them, feed them, or allowing dogs to get too close to them or the fence.

Our spot is located right across the road from the beautiful Chadwick Lake in Newburgh! We have 1/4 acre fenced in backyard with regularly trimmed grass. About half of the yard is flat and the other half is on a hill. The hill is great for tiring out your pup! It backs up to a wooded area. There is a deck and a patio with furniture and umbrellas. We provide dog toys that are sanitized between visits. Please BYO water and bowl/container. Hope to have you for a visit soon!
