Buster was a 16 year-old dog who passed away while running in his sleep on July 25, 2025. He enjoyed his field with family dogs his entire life. He was the last one as I am at an age now where I probably won't be getting another dog; so, I want others to enjoy the land. After the first freeze, I drain the interior pipes and hot water heater to the wash stall inside the barn, there is however a 12-month frost free outdoor fountain on the back side of the barn by the woods with a water trough and plenty of electric outlets. I mowed a trail around the perimeter that is about .4 miles for a walk / run around the inside of the perimeter of the five acre field (.2 miles if you cut through the middle to avoid the little hill on the side next to the houses on the road). *5/10 Please note a change in parking due to all the rain we’re having* Come explore the hay fields of Three Oaks Farm! We are a family owned beef and pork producer on 124 acres in Fort Edward, NY and would like to share our fields with you and your dog(s)! Enjoy private, mowed paths while the hay is growing, or a completely open field that’s great for frisbee when it’s cut! This setting is perfect for a leisurely walk/run, photo opportunities in the grass/wildflowers or with the three large oak trees as a backdrop! We often share our fields with all sorts of wildlife including Bald Eagles, Osprey, geese, pheasants, deer, owls, hawks, song birds of all varieties and the occasional partridge! If your dog likes to swim after a walk, there is a swimming spot near the Dead Creek bridge! Parking is on our 1st field road right after the Dead Creek bridge, and is directly off County Route 46. The parking area is marked in the photos. **We ask that you please park near the road and do not drive down the field road when it’s wet. We would also greatly appreciate you driving on the field road and not in the hay fields. Thank you! **The east portion of the field does have 2 paddocks of hot electric fence- it is easy to see the wire and posts. We do have beef cows/calves and large pigs that are sometimes near the fence line- they are friendly and use to dogs; however, we strongly discourage attempting to pet them, feed them, or allowing dogs to get too close to them or the fence.

Finger Lakes Dog Park is a privately reservable, fully-fenced, half acre canine recreation area. We enthusiastically welcome ALL dogs, but the private nature of the park is especially beneficial for reactive or shy dogs, traveling dogs, handicapped dogs, puppies, or seniors. We are the first and only dog park in Schuyler County, located in the heart of the Finger Lakes Region. The area is known for its rolling farmland, many vineyards, beautiful lakes, and plentiful waterfalls and gorges. Numerous state parks offer many camping opportunities. And the county is also home to the only national forest in the state. So whether you are a local resident-or a visitor to our little piece of heaven-be sure to bring your special friend(s) for an enjoyable outing in the country. We are open every day (including all holidays) from 8am to 8pm. The park is not lighted (yet) so reserve your spot accordingly during the winter. Happy romping!
