Welcome to The Vista, a 30-acre outdoor space, with 15 acres for dogs and owners to enjoy. The area includes three main sections: an open field, a pond, and hiking trails. While there are no visible animals or pets on the higher levels, neighbor dogs may occasionally be visible at a distance from the lower areas. Wildlife is active and may cross your path—please avoid interaction when possible. This is an unfenced, off-leash location, and we cannot be held liable for dogs who are escape artists! Our pond spans 20 feet across and over 20 feet deep, with an almost immediate drop-off when stepping in. The pond is spring-fed and stocked, so feel free to swim, fish, or float during your visit. There is no electricity or formal structure, but you are welcome to set up a tent or umbrella for shade. This is a carry in–carry out site, so please leave no trace behind, including your trash. For twice the fun with your furry friend, consider upgrading to camp overnight! A porta potty is onsite, but there is no water or electricity available. Please note that security video surveillance is in place for safety.

I do like to greet my guests and quick show you around. There may be people that are walking/riding bikes on the side street. Some may be walking their dog. If your dog is more sensitive my spot may not be right for you. I also have my own dog that may bark sometimes from within my home. A beautiful spot featuring a large open mowed field with large trails throughout. Lots of wildlife, especially butterflies. Please feel free to drive and park further down the field if you would like.

We have a fully fenced in backyard that our dog would love to share! We understand the struggle of going to dog parks or somewhere in public if you have a nervous dog that doesn’t do well with people or other pets as we have one ourselves! Please use our spot with the comfort of knowing that you won’t be bothered by other people or dogs. We have tons of outdoor toys to throw and a doggy pool and hose if your fur friend loves getting wet! Feel free to use our deck and patio set if you want to lounge while your pup is running around.

Rough cut trails through the forest, wetland and pines make this an enjoyable walk with your furry friend. Lots of trails - some maintained some unmaintained - choose your own adventure or we can point you in the direction of our favorites. Great if you want to let your dog off leash hike but don’t want to risk running into any other dogs - we have 80 acres and no neighbors and a private road! I have 2 dogs who will stay inside while you’re here, we have a fenced area right by the house we use for them/ this can be booked upon request but is generally just for our dogs. Buster was a 16 year-old dog who passed away on July 25, 2025. He enjoyed his field with family dogs his entire life. He was the last one as we are at an age now where we probably won't be getting another dog; so, we want others to enjoy the land. Feel free to use the wash stall inside the barn (hot water and hoses are yours to use), there is also an outdoor fountain, water trough and plenty of electric outlets. I mowed a trail around the perimeter that is about a three mile walk / run. I also put a path down the middle in case you want to rest after 1.5 miles. Thank you and have fun!

Bottomless Smells. 100 acre farm. Lots of space for your doggos and you to roam. It is a rustic magical place. Parking is far from the street down a gravel driveway. Safe for your pup and you to get out of the car. You can park anywhere. If you feel comfortable you can drive down to the lower field to get even further away from the road. I live down the street while I am fixing up the old house. So, there maybe someone at work in the house. Once you park, the best walking is down to the creek. Go to the lower field and look for the opening in the woods. 150yards from field is the creek. On a hot day, wear good creek shoes and walk up and down creek. If you cross the creek there is a great trail that circles around to the Powerline. Warnings: 1. there are lots of deer! 2. There are old barns. Do Not enter any of the buildings! They are very dangerous!!!! I have rescued reactive dogs. I want to create a safe space for your dogs and you to enjoy this great property.
