Description

This is a fun, spacious spot with a pool available for dogs to use, lots of grassy space for your dog to run around, lighting at night, and different amenities for humans! It's generally best for dogs over 20 pounds because of a small gap under a gate in the yard (see the fencing section of the description), but dogs under this weight are more than welcome to come if this isn't an issue for them! The yard also has lounge chairs (just take the black covers off and then put them back on before you leave) and a outlet for charging (behind the chairs in the shade) for owners, as well as other amenities (see the amenities section).

Hazards

Please make sure that the gate closes behind you after you enter (feel free to slam it hard!). Also, please make sure to keep an eye on your dog in the pool, especially if they're not an experienced swimmer, since it's fairly deep. A dog (or guest!) could also potentially slip and fall into the pool, so please be careful around the edges! There's a hose in the pool connected to the robotic pool cleaner, so please make sure your dog doesn't get tangled up. Our pool has less chlorine than most because it's a saltwater pool (but it's only 1/10th as salty as the ocean), so it's not harmful if your dog drinks a little bit, but they might not feel well if they drank too much. Finally, the pool is unheated, so it might be too cold for some dogs, depending on the weather.

Both dogs and human guests are allowed to swim in the pool at their own risk, but people are required to stay in the shallow end unless at least one other adult is accompanying them. The lounge chairs in the backyard are available for guests to use, but please put the covers back on when you're done!

**Our spot will be closed for the first 2 weeks in June as we undertake a big landscaping project that will include all new grass! We look forward to having all our pup friends and their humans back soon in our new and improved spot!** In the Park Cities, Uptown and central Dallas areas it is hard to find dog parks that aren’t muddy or over crowded, making it nerve-racking for small or shy dogs. With lush green grass, paved stone areas and large mature trees, this yard in the nearby Bird Streets is a dog’s paradise. Our house sits on a half-acre corner lot and has a large fully fenced backyard with unique areas. There is plenty of space for running, playing fetch, or just relaxing in the grass. A splash pad provides some extra fun during these hot summer days. We keep capacity limited in order to provide a custom experience and to keep the massive amounts of space a haven for your porches. 	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
