Welcome to Brockett Bark! 🐾 Friends have told us our backyard feels like a small city park: a fully fenced 1.2 acre property lined with trees that provide lots of shade and privacy. It's rare to find a spot like this so close to the city! There's lots of room here for activity—whether your fur-babies like to roam and sniff all the smells, find and chew on endless sticks, play long distance fetch (with our handy chuck-it), or just get some serious exercise running at full speed up and down the hill. We have two large breed dogs ourselves (an Australian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees) and this yard is their happy place! Our Pyr is a rescue who can't be off leash or go to dog parks, so our property is the only space where he's free to be himself. And when we discovered Sniffspot, we wanted to offer the same opportunity for other doggos like him. No pup should be kept from the joys of life because of what they've been through! Our home is super easy to find/access and we have plenty of private (off-street) parking available, making it an ideal space to meet up for playdates. Hi there! Welcome to my backyard. I hope you and your pups enjoy their time here. My yard is fairly rustic. There will be some seating and also poop bags and a trashcan will be available. I don’t have any toys right now, but I may add some in the future. Please be mindful of any kudzu vines or exposed tree roots. Depending on when you visit, please be mindful that there might be a few muddy spots so wear appropriate shoes. It’s very shady with all the trees.  Please no smoking, alcohol or glass bottles. My yard is fully fenced for your fur friend to run and sniff around! I have a table with chairs, rockers and a lounge for humans to enjoy. There is a hose out back. The neighborhood is super calm and quiet, and often the only sounds are birdsong! At the end of my block, there is a walking trail (South river trail). Very quiet also.

Our dog tucker loves it! (He will not be there during your visit but, there are lots of tennis balls :) Electric outlets available. Space heater for cold weather. Ceiling fan for hot weather. Well lit at night.
