Description

Beautiful secluded property with a creek running through it. The backyard is about 1 acre with a big open field surrounded by large mature trees and a creek bordering the back side. Dogs must be trained not to run off as we do not have a fence. Old fence posts show the property lines. You can to take a dip in the creek with your dog to cool off on hot days. The water does flow so I wouldn't recommend it for really small dogs. The water is fairly shallow but can get high and flow fast after heavy rain. You will have to walk down a small hill to enter the creek. The weeds get high by the water but I have made 2 separate paths to enter the creek. Entering the creek is at your own risk. The creek is on the property line so the land across the creek is not part of the property so please do not go across the creek. If you do plan on going in the creek I recommend water shoes and a towel, it can get muddy by the water. And it can also get buggy, so you might want to bring bug spray as well. Feel free to move any of the chairs from the firepit to anywhere around the yard but put back when finished. Please clean up after your pup, garbage can is the green one by the garage. You can park on the left side of driveway by the RV and enter on the left side of the garage.

Our spot is on a large corner lot on a dead-end street in a quiet, secluded neighborhood. We have one nextdoor neighbor who has no pets, and we have large privacy trees between us. The yard is shaded with established trees, and roughly three quarters of an acre are fenced in with a ranch style wooden fence (the lowest rung is 6 inches above the ground, so our spot is not suitable for tiny dogs who might want to run underneath). The yard is not close to the road, but people occasionally walk by and are visible. We have lots of squirrels and chipmunks to chase. It's a great spot for reactive dogs who need to run or nap in a sun-dappled space and don't do well at a traditional social dog park. We have a large vegetable garden and do not use pesticides in the yard to protect our pollinator friends. Our cozy deck is available with comfortable seating, tables, and wifi. I work from home and am often around if you happen to need anything. We do have a rescued 7 year old pup on the premises, but he will stay inside and away from windows. Hi everyone! Hope all of my friends are staying warm and healthy right now. We miss you! The driveway is plowed & ok to use! Let me know if you want me to leave a sled outside for your dog to pull you! We had a blast with that today, we have a working dog and he loves a good task! With it being cold out, I will do my best to leave water in the barn for your dogs. If I do not, there is always empty bowls & the pool in the barn if you want to fill one up. I'll always message you ahead of time and let you know if I'm home to help out. There are no farm animals here currently and this is a pasture that is now cleaned up and ready for our pups to play in.
