Sit in the shade and enjoy a good book while your dog gets the exercise she needs, or get a good hike in for yourself as well. Hi everyone! The chicks all went to homes so it is completely quiet again! We have had extreme winds, so between visits I am putting things away, if you book quickly I'll let you know where the water bowls are to pull out. Otherwise I'll always have them set out with fresh water. You can bring chairs, set a fire in the huge fire pit (bring wood and fire starter) also welcome to back your pick up into the area and hang out / sunset views for days here! * Short grass / tall grass areas / hill in the very back * Fenced but CATTLE fencing so great for larger dogs & dogs with GOOD recall * Wear your cowboy boots and explore the property! * Farm area is separate from our immediate yard up by our house so you have full privacy. * Anyone is more than welcome to use the yard around the house, just give me a heads up so we have it set for you 😊 this area is best for small dogs or runners and track stars, lol fully fenced!

Our backyard is on a fenced in double lot with lots of room to run and play. Heavily wooded and backs up to a ravine. One thing to note: Our gate to the backyard opens up to our steps to the house (you can see this in the photos) and it can be trickier to navigate if you have a mobility aide. My wife and I work from home and either of us would be happy to assist in accessing the yard if needed. We have one camera mounted to the back of the house that does not see past the deck. This is to check on our pup, Maisie, when she roams the yard in between SniffSpots.

Notice: We are closing the spot on May 23rd for maintenance. Sorry for the inconvenience. Grass and rain: Please keep in mind that during moderate to heavy rains the area without mulch can get muddy. Beginning May of 2024, we will post pictures daily to our Instagram account showing the condition of the spot. As you can imagine, due to the wear and tear the spot gets, it’s difficult to keep the grass alive. However, we do our best to reseed during the spring. BarkPark sits right across the street from The Salvation Army Freedom Center. This spot is fully fenced (chain link and wood) with the side facing the sidewalk being 5ft and the rest of the fence being 6ft. There is a dual-gate entrance to the spot for a safe entry and exit. Street parking is available. There is plenty of seating at this spot with shade throughout the day. There's a rain barrel filled with water for dogs to hydrate and cool down. We have water bowls available. GIANT sandbox that's great for digging and playing; no digging elsewhere please. On hot days, we do our best to keep the sand wet. Trash can onsite. We have poop bags available in two different areas for easy access. Half of this spot is covered with grass and the other half with playground mulch. This spot is big enough to get a good fetch session in or to just let the zoomies out. We also recently added agility equipment. We hope you and your four-legged friend/s have an exceptional time during your visit and choose to come back. Lost toys and items: Due to the amount of visits we get we aren’t able to track which items belong to which guest. If you’ve lost a dog toy or other item, please reach out and we’ll do our best to retrieve it and hold it for you. If you don’t reach out, we’ll hold onto it for a week and then add it to the Lost and Found Toy Box. Water: The dog drinking water gets changed 1-2 times per week, depending on the temperature/usage. During the winter months we empty the water barrel. If your dog/s require water during the winter months, we ask that you please bring your own. Food: You’re welcomed to bring food but we ask that you please clean up as a courtesy to other guests. Future additions: We hope to add more amenities over time. Our plans are to add more sand to the sandbox in late April or early May of 2024. We’re also hoping to have on-site parking around mid summer of 2024. If you have any suggestions for amenities, we’d love to hear your feedback.

There is a wide open space up front or if you choose to go around the back of the house there is a sand beach shallow at the beach area. And more open spots to run on this 12 acres . Ask all guests to come and leave during your time slot. I have a dog that is not friendly with others. So it’s important for the safety of everyone to come during your slot. The water has a blue dye that is safe for people and animals. It’s a dye that aids in blocking uv rays. Please be sure to check weather. If we get heavy rain it can get muddy in areas. Payton’s playground is a spot where you can spend personal time with your dog by yourself without having to worry about others intruding in on your play session. We’re so close to EMC^2 & even Whiteys, so grab those pup cups and head on over! Occasionally owls, deer, and other wildlife may be spotted on the other side of this fully fenced in yard. To decrease traffic we have increased our pricing because the grass is struggling with wear/tear. If you have a history of using our yard we want your dog to still get to come play! So please send a message & we will send you a discount code. We just need to start planning for planting grass etc. We LOVE sharing our space with multiple dogs from the community however, it is hard on the grass. For this reason, we have limited our evening and some weekend availability to Members Only to decrease the wear and tear on the yard. With the fluctuation in weather please be aware: If outdoor parks are wet and muddy ~ areas of our yard will be also. We cannot control the effects of rain. WATER: Due to freezing temperatures all water features have been removed for the season. Clean water bowls will be provided, but please bring your own water for the time being. Thank you for understanding. Please always use the provided carabiner to lock the gate as pictured after you and your dog(s) enter. We have installed multiple methods of LIGHTING for evening reservations. Easy instructions for use will be sent when you make the reservation. We do have a SHADE/RAIN SHELTER! :) PARKING: One FREE private parking space located at the entrance from the alley at the back of the lot. Since some guests were having a tough time with the parking space, we did WIDEN the entrance. We park 2 Honda CRV's back there daily without issue. Fully fenced 6 foot secure and private green space. Large open lot with seating and plenty of room to play fetch or just relax off leash. Easy street parking, no permit required. Any Extras will be located in the storage bin on the east wall of the lot. We have evening hours 6:30p to 9:30p for Members Only, 7 days per week.
