ALL DOGS MUST BE LEGALLY LICENSED & UP-TO-DATE ON THEIR VACCINATIONS. DOGS SHALL WEAR A VISIBLE DOG LICENSE & IDENTIFICATION AT ALL TIMES. ALL DOGS MUST BE SPAYED OR NEUTERED. FEMALE DOGS IN HEAT & DOGS THAT ARE SICK ARE NOT PERMITTED. NO DOGS OVER 30 POUNDS PERMITTED IN THE SMALL DOG AREA. AGGRESSIVE DOGS ARE PROHIBITED FROM THIS PARK AND DOGS EXHIBITING AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR OR EXCESSIVE BARKING MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE PARK IMMEDIATELY. EXCESSIVE BARKING IS DEFINED IN §214-3.(3)OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF EPHRATA UNLAWFUL NOISE PROHIBITED AS BARKS CONTINUOUSLY AND/OR INCESSANTLY FOR A PERIOD OF 10 MINUTES OR MAKES SUCH A NOISE FOR ½ HOUR OR MORE. DOG OWNERS ARE SOLELY LIABLE FOR INJURIES OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY THEIR DOG(S). DOG WASTE MUST BE CLEANED UP BY DOG OWNERS & PLACED IN PROPER RECEPTACLES. DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH & UNDER CONTROL BY THEIR OWNERS/HANDLERS AT ALL TIMES OUTSIDE OF THE FENCED DOG PARK. REMOVE DOG LEASH BETWEEN THE TWO ENTRANCE GATES. NO DOGS UNDER FOUR (4) MONTHS OF AGE ARE PERMITTED. NO OTHER ANIMALS ARE PERMITTED IN THE DOG PARK. DOG OWNERS MUST BE IN THE DOG PARK & WITHIN VIEW & VOICE CONTROL OF THEIR DOG(S) AT ALL TIMES & ALWAYS HAVE LEASH AVAILABLE FOR USE. SPIKED COLLARS ARE PROHIBITED. HANDLERS MUST BE 16 YEARS OR OLDER. CHILDREN UNDER AGE 14 ARE NOT PERMITTED INSIDE THE DOG PARK. NO MORE THAN THREE (3) DOGS ALLOWED PER HANDLER. Does your dog have the zoomies? Bring him to my place and let your fur baby run around and get the zoomies out. I have 3 pasture sections that they can use to run and run and run and run and run! I am about 1.5 miles from route 283 so if you are traveling and need a sniff spot, I am right here! I just added a very basic wash station.

Mostly flat terrain for easier walking. Some trails are rocky, some have alot of protruding roots, ground is uneven in areas. Clearing by the cabin and back trails are muddy after the rain. Occasional dog barking in the background. Sometimes neighbors mowing/ kids playing. Pretty private. Mostly audible distractions. You might see a car driving past. Not necessary to bring poop bags, just relocate it if it ends up where you walk. Springs for your dogs to drink from. Playful Pups Retreat SniffSpot Play Yard
Our SniffSpot Play Yard is fully fenced in with a 6ft tall wooden privacy fence. We have 19 wooded acres with our boarding facility being located at the South end of our property, the owners personal residence in the middle and our private SniffSpot play yard at the North end of our property. We do have a nice walking trail that meanders through our property but please be aware that our Playful Pups Retreat Staff may be walking overnight boarding dogs on the trail during our business hours. There is a container with a few toys to play with inside the SniffSpot yard but we do suggest bringing your own toys. Please bring poop bags and clean up after your pet. Please take bags of poop with you or stop at Playful Pups and dispose of it in one of our outdoor trash receptacles. FOR NOISE SENSITIVE DOGS! PLEASE BE AWARE WE DO HAVE A GUN CLUB NOT FAR FROM THIS PLAY YARD. DEPENDING ON THE DAY THERE MAY BE GUNFIRE.
