There is no fence around the property. The road and creek are the property lines on the east and west sides. The end of the property is where mowed field meets 8+ foot tall grasses.

Description

This location sits along Indian Creek. There are a few access points to the creek as you walk along the field. Grasses will remain short until May. At that point nothing is mowed until August to promote nesting and wildlife habitat. There are no houses visible from this location. A road runs along the property, but if you follow the creek you can easily stay 500-1000 feet off the road. Your dog will be free to roam, swim in the creek, dig all it wants with no worry of hurting anything, go to the bathroom freely in the wild. I trained Labrador retrievers for 16 years, and would love to help with retrieval skills if requested.

There will be a sign with the street address off the side of the road where you pull off to park.There will also be no trespassing signs attached to that pole. If you encounter anyone, please call or text me. It is across from the concrete driveway going up the hill. Do not park in that driveway. That is my neighbor’s. I will have rock/gravel right off the road for you to park. There is no driveway. This is an outdoor hangout on farmland. I don’t mind if you follow the path along the creek beyond the gravel if you desire to park further off the road, but there is no gravel, and at times it can get very soft.

My name is Kyle Parr. I’ve lived in Georgetown my entire life. I own 3 pieces of property along Indian Creek. I manage all 3 for wildlife and work with the USDA office to offer pollinator plants, milkweed to feed butterflies, and other crops to attract wildlife of all types along the creek.

We live off a private drive with 30 acres of woods. We have both a 5 ft fenced in front yard plus in the process of fencing in the open acerage in back yard. We also have trails on our property that you can walk/hike while observing wildlife. We are currently cleaning our large kiddie pool that had been used previously for our big dogs. We can provide Johnsons Baby shampoo and towels if you would like to give your dog a bath in it. We will have camping chairs available to sit and relax while watching your dog run around our fenced in yard. We will also provide bottles of water for you to drink if thirsty besides bucket of fresh water for your dog/dogs. There are ticks in the woods so be sure to have flea/tick preventative on your dog/dogs.
