Since we’re a hobby farm, we often have to feed and take care of the animals. We may need to walk around the backyard occasionally to tend to the farm animals (never IN the backyard, but around). If your dog is reactive to the sight of humans, this extra is for you.
Host Rules
Please… -Park on the right side of the driveway. -Try to keep barking to a minimum out of respect for the neighbors (this includes barking at the farm animals). -Do not go into any of the farm animals' pens. -if your dog digs a hole, please fill the hole back in. -Stay out of the hay field. -No dogs in the garden area. -We often have to feed and take care of the farm animals. We may need to walk around the backyard occasionally to tend to them (never IN the backyard, but around). -Come into the house if a severe thunderstorm or tornado warning is issued for our location, or if you hear sirens (monthly testing excluded). Make sure your dog is leashed.

I have been an animal lover my entire life. I was raised on a dairy farm and was surrounded by animals. As the years & decades have progressed, I’ve loved and lost many special dogs over the years. Currently we have 3 dogs….2 small Papillons (Annie & Sunshine) and 1 large Rottweiler cross (Floki). Sunshine is Floki’s fluffy sidekick. Annie is happy whenever she’s next to me.

Our backyard is a half acre of fully fenced fun! Conveniently located and ample parking. Tons of room to run and sniff! Half of the backyard is grass. The other half is a mix of pollinators and weeds awaiting my picking. I use natural methods to control weeds by hand picking, cardboard and tarps for smothering patches of weeds.

The water is usually left ready to go, but the spigot on the side of the house is off. To use it, open the valve on the side of the house by the driveway. I have an irregularly shaped, fully-fenced backyard that is more long and narrow than square and great for games of fetch. Fence is 4 ft high and is a combination of linked chain/wood privacy fence. Jason's 3 Acre Partially Fenced Private Dog Park In Oak Grove along the scenic rum river
This is a great little spot with alot of privacy once you are down the hill by the river. There is an open field for the dogs to run and play catch with a mix of grass and sand, There are multiple spots where the dogs and people can get into the water if you wish . I also have a picnic table and some chairs down there to sit and relax at , it is very peaceful and private. I also offer overnight camping for guests for 100 a night , I have a nice large lodge style tent set up overlooking the river , there is a grill picnic table , firepit a couple fishing poles or you could always bring your own. I also have kayaks and a canoe available for rent also.

It is not attached to our back yard and is a completely separate and private area. A great place for play dates with others, maybe even a picnic for the humans. Bring your snowshoes if you would like a bit of a workout yourself off trail in the deeper snow! PLEASE NOTE: Zero tolerance for smoking of ANYTHING while on our property. You may smoke in your own personal vehicle. But also, do NOT leave your dogs unattended. Please pick up after your dog. I am finding a crazy amount of poop left behind. Fill any holes you pup digs and return toy to bin. Also, in the winter months, please be aware that their is no lighting in the field.
