Description

Look for 3 reflector stakes on each side of unpaved driveway & follow about 1/3 mile to Sniffspot sign parking on the left. Enter forest & enjoy!

HOST NOTE

Barbed wire fence in certain areas of perimeter fencing, ticks when in season like all of NoVa, briars in a few areas & uneven terrain. Good idea to wear boots if it's been raining the past couple days as there is often small standing pools of water along trail at a few points. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should guests climb the tree stands around the property.

Backwoods tent camping40 credits

100ac of forest for overnight camping with pets up to 2 tents &/or 4 people. No toilet facilities so bring a shovel the old fashion way. :-) Bonfire pit & group rates available upon request.

Shooting range25 credits

Price is per person for 2 hours of handgun, rifle & shotgun, but no skeet any time after 9am & before dark. Range up to 100 yards. Steel targets only beyond 50yds. Bring your own guns, ammo & targets. POR the ultimate shooting experience with many exotics.

Tiny home lodging200 credits

600sf A-frame cabin available to rent with all amenities. House is not large dog friendly but unlimited Sniffspot is included during the rental period. Price upon request depending on weekday, weekend, holiday, duration, etc. There are numerous wineries/breweries within a couple mi radius & directly across the street from Tarara Winery. Wifi unavailable.

Great space with beautiful views and different types of terrain including open mowed fields, woods, a creek, views of golf course, and more. The area is unfenced to maintain the sweeping views and natural look. If you dog is the type to take off into the woods this may not be the best place for you, otherwise you’ll love it!

You can hike on designated trails, on mowed fields or use the ponds for water training for hours with your pup(s). Our farm has: ✔️ Abundant wildlife! ✔️ Wide-open, completely unfenced land ✔️ Natural terrain with fields, hills, and trails ✔️ Ponds, streams and endless sniffing opportunities Parking & Arrival: Please park to the right of the big red barn, by the dumpster and begin walking from there. The farm sits on a very sharp curve, so use caution when entering and exiting the property. Please exit the farm by the farmhouse and only go straight (do not cross traffic as you exit). Dogs must be on leash when exiting your car and near the road. Once you are safely away from the road, dogs may be off leash for the remainder of your visit. An additional area that is further back behind a cattle gate is available for use but unfenced at this time. We offer toys, water, water bowls, parkour equipment, lots of toys and a small pool for the summer. Long games of fetch or frisbee. Tug. If you dog loves to sniff there are lots of fox, deer and other creatures in the area to enliven your dogs nose! Easy parking available.
