55Host was extremely easy to work with and answered questions fast. Yard was large and clean and perfect for our 2 dogs to stop and take a break from the car on a road trip. Thanks so much! It was exactly what we were looking for.
55A great spot! I stopped over passing through town and it was perfect to give my dog some exercise on our road trip! Lucy was very nice and hospitable and the spot was big and fenced and as described. Easy to find, easy to park. Thank you!
55Lovely spot with shade and sun, a few portable fans, nice and secure. We loved it.
55Loved this spot! Great for zoomies and sniffs!
55This is a great little spot near Little Rock. Lucy is a kind and gracious host. I appreciated that she was letting the grasses and clover grow long for early pollinators, and has the lawn mower ready for when there's enough other food sources available for them. Thank you for letting us stop by!
55Very fun and lots of good smells
55Very secure yard for my small escape artist!
55Back to the Clover Patch for another fun, happy afternoon! Lucy’s yard is perfect for using the Chuck It ball thrower. We played ball the entire time and also took advantage of the exciting snifs! Lucy is a wonderful hostess and we look forward to our next visit. Thanks so much.
55Very big yard with room to run. Secure fencing. Her house is beautiful so nice scenery while our dog was running around
55My dogs loved it! It a nice shady little spot!

your dog should not see any other dogs unless you arrive more than 1/2 hour early or late and another guest is here. Sniffspot leaves 1/2 hour in between visitors to avoid that situation. sometimes you can hear dogs barking. they are not in the immediate property adjoining mine. There is one dog across the alley in the back that barks sometimes but is not visible from the Sniffspot area.

Description

We may not have clover 100% of the year but we are turning our yard into a local plant and wildlife sanctuary and cutting back on just grass. We currently still have a large grassy area in both shade and sun but plan to have more and more diverse plants as time goes on. As extras we have a hose with a sprinkler attachment, a dog sized pool and homemade dog treats. For everyone we have sticks and balls for you to use or bring your own. We have a large double lot on the side of the house for your dog to have plenty of space to run and play. Our cancellation policy: if you get here and the weather is not perfect but it’s what was forecast, we do not refund your money. If there is a sudden storm or unpredicted downpour please cancel if you can before arriving. if it should start while you are here and you have to leave we will give you a refund if you did not get the major part of your visit.

Cleanliness

Hazards

Only what nature puts there to the best of my knowledge. Sticks, rocks, plants etc. I have deliberately avoided planting any flowers that could be toxic to dogs in the Sniffspot area. That’s why it’s important that you don’t let them off leash until you get into the fenced Sniffsspot area because some of the front yard has a variety of flowers that you don’t want your dog eating.

Extras

Raised dog bath$8

We have a raised dog bed for small to large dogs. Wash your dog here in the yard instead of getting your house all wet. It will also cool him or her off after playing outside in the summer heat. Probably will cool you off too! We have the bath and the sprinkler hose. You can tether your dog to the bath so they won’t runoff half washed. Bring your own shampoo. We supply towels.

Wading pool or sprinkler$3

Check out the photos to see a dog in the pool. If your dog likes water, you’ll love having the pool as an extra on hot days. We will fill it with clean water just for your dog. Or you can have a choice of a sprinkler running on a tripod if your dog likes to try to catch running water. It will cool you both off!

My first dog was a boxer named Phuzzy. I love watching dogs play and think they really need more space to enjoy a variety of play areas outside. That’s what inspired me to open a Sniff Spot in my yard. It’s the perfect space for a dog to enjoy without the interference of other dogs unless you bring one with you.
