Description

20 acres split up into a flat/mowed area, and a trail that is cut through the woods around the property. There is plenty of safe space to run and explore. We are surrounded by farmland and a quiet dirt road.

HOST NOTE

Trails have some spots with wild raspberries, so there are occasional thorny branches, as well as tree debris in general. Trails also can get very muddy after rainfall. We try to keep them as clear as possible. Ticks are also out now, so please make sure to check yourself and your dog.

Hello! My name is Rachel, I live on 20 acres with my coonhound (Nellie) and 3 cats (Rev, Lune and Garth). There is a path mowed out through the woods and a small creek that is further back if you feel like exploring. Or there is the yard which has plenty of space to run. I live on a paved road surrounded by farmland, so plenty of space and quiet. There is hose access for water and cleaning if need be.

This is a great little spot with alot of privacy once you are down the hill by the river. There is an open field for the dogs to run and play catch with a mix of grass and sand, There are multiple spots where the dogs and people can get into the water if you wish . I also have a picnic table and some chairs down there to sit and relax at , it is very peaceful and private. I also offer overnight camping for guests for 100 a night , I have a nice large lodge style tent set up overlooking the river , there is a grill picnic table , firepit a couple fishing poles or you could always bring your own. Come and enjoy our own private 3plus acres of wooded with some open space and trails. Fully fenced in and secure. So much space for your fur babies to run and explore. No need to stress with other dogs that may be reactive. Or maybe your pup doesn’t play well with others and prefers their own space. Our private dog park is for you. This space is amazing. It is not attached to our back yard and is a completely separate and private area. A great place for play dates with others, maybe even a picnic for the humans. Bring your snowshoes if you would like a bit of a workout yourself off trail in the deeper snow! PLEASE NOTE: Zero tolerance for smoking of ANYTHING while on our property. You may smoke in your own personal vehicle. But also, do NOT leave your dogs unattended. Please pick up after your dog. I am finding a crazy amount of poop left behind. Fill any holes you pup digs and return toy to bin. Also, in the winter months, please be aware that their is no lighting in the field. The designated Sniffspot parking area has ample lighting but none in the field.
