Our home sits on almost 3.5 acres. We have a pond and beach area. A nice patio and gazebo. We have 3 dogs that I can put in the house or we can meet and everyone can play! Ginger is a 2 yr old Aussie mix rescue with endless energy, Kimber is a 5 yr old pure bred German Shepard. She’s starting to slow down and is so sweet. Benelli is a 12 yr old lab mix rescue that loves to nap and eat! She currently has cancer, and we are letting her live her life to the fullest until it’s time to help her cross that bridge. We are approximately 10 acres of woodland grass, and native prairie, located on a gravel road with perimeter fencing, but not gate fencing. Dog owners must assume responsibility for their digs and their safety. There is lots of room to roam and play, but dogs can run outside of perimeter if not monitored and/or controlled. There will be no other dogs out and about during a booked visit, however there will be dogs in the house.

My back yard has a gated entrance that is secured on the inside for the safety of your pet while in the spot! Fully fenced, with some opps for sniffing other dogs through the fence. There is a chance for occasionally seeing other people and dogs but not in close contact. My pup and I will be inside, but he will probably greet you with barking. It’s a great backyard with a good space for your pup to get some off leash time. Upon request there is a puppy pool that can be put out for your pup! Seating and a table for pup parents that the majority of the day is shaded but midafternoon there is strong sun till sunset. There willl be an umbrella and stand if you would like to use that for shade. The yard is sunny most of the day. I will request picking up after your pet there is a chance there could be some piles from my own dog but I do have a service that does a weekly (Tuesday)pick up there will be a 5 gallon bucket for waste disposal, I do have a scooper that has bag clips I would ask that all poos are bagged before disposal please. If you have a high energy dog I highly recommend sitting at the top of the stairs and throwing a ball to the back corner of the yard! Wears out every Aussie I know!

Our spot is near a county forest preserve and is part of the beautiful country side. Our space is unfenced and rectangular shaped and would be great for running, playing frisbee, or ball. There is a picnic table to take a break and watch your pup explore. It is partially fenced on the north side and a hill keeps your pup out of trouble on the south side. There are occasional rabbits, raccoon, and deer but normally leave as soon as there are people present. Come enjoy!

Park Like Backyard Great for Fetch and Running Around

Our backyard is on a fenced in double lot with lots of room to run and play. Heavily wooded and backs up to a ravine. One thing to note: Our gate to the backyard opens up to our steps to the house (you can see this in the photos) and it can be trickier to navigate if you have a mobility aide. My wife and I work from home and either of us would be happy to assist in accessing the yard if needed. We have one camera mounted to the back of the house that does not see past the deck. This is to check on our pup, Maisie, when she roams the yard in between SniffSpots.
