55Nice open field with lots of plant life and butterflies. Our dog had a great time running through the grass and sniffing everywhere.
55Amazing space! Our boy loved it!
55Our pup had a great time running through the grass and playing in the creek.
55So happy to find a fenced spot large enough for my 2 y/o dog (with so-so recall) to run and explore freely without having to worry about her wandering off! She was in heaven mucking around in the wet areas. My 4 y/o (with perfect recall) enjoyed himself too in an area very different from our usual woodland hikes.
55We had an amazing time with our girls here. We got to see gorgeous cows, play on the water, and hiked up to see the amazing view. I highly recommend this spot for a fun adventure with your pupps!
45When I got there I could not find the fenced area that everyone was talking about. Good thing my dogs are okay off leash, as they go with me everyday to different places and stick with me And come when called or with a whistle. The woods was great though, it is so hard to find woods or anywhere to bring them that is legal or acceptable for them to be off leash. I don't like dog parks as I have already a pack of four husky mixes and they get along with other dogs but not all dogs are friendly. This was about 25 minutes from my house. I probably will go back as it was quiet, we were undisturbed, and they had a great time.
55My dogs always love running around in the water and fields, and all the sniffs. Today we went up the trail in the woods to look at the lake.
55Had a great time! Was a quiet, beautiful space for lots of running. The fenced area is fully fenced in and had no concerns about my dog getting out
55We loved it and will be going back!
55We will definitely be back! Loved how varied the fenced area was. Swampy parts, dried ground, tall grass, short grass, brush, trees…so many things to explore. Ré had the best time. Easy access and accurate information. Fence was good and the only spot I need to be careful was right by the stock gate. With the mild wet winter wear your muck boots.

Description

We have 128 acres of woods pasture and active farm land available for you to explore with your dog ! If your interested in a off leash experience without worry we have a 2 acre spot for your four legged love to enjoy without the fear of a failed recall. We just ask you stay out of the cows pasture, barn , chicken coops and do not open any gates despite what the cows might tell you ;) Our beautiful working farm is a natural environment shared by abundant wildlife deer, herons, and wild turkeys who roam the property and potentially could access the fenced area. When our Sniffspot guests are not visiting the fenced area is home to our flock of sheep. They happily do the “mowing” for us so you may notice some spots where the field isn’t perfectly “mowed” or gifts they have left behind! With this please be mindful not to leave anything behind that may attract in wildlife or potentially harm our sheep! We thank you and look forward to your visit !

The agility yard is a great way to give your pet physical and mental enrichment while strengthening the bond between you. Safety is paramount, so you’ll find our Agility Yard enclosed by a four-foot fence. However, if your dog happens to be an enthusiastic jumper, we recommend visiting the Athens Bunker Hill Dog Park, offering an open and adequately fenced space to accommodate their energy. While enjoying the Agility Yard, please note that there’s a road nearby. For your pet’s safety and the safety of others, keep your pet leashed when entering and exiting the yard. The road sees regular foot traffic, with people walking, dog-walking, and cycling. Passersby may pause to admire your training efforts. Respect for the environment is crucial—remember to CLEAN UP after your pet. Doggie bags are conveniently available on the fence, and you can dispose of waste in our designated garbage receptacle. If your pet happens to dig, please fill in any holes they create. To ensure everyone’s safety, please refrain from using any of the equipment; it’s exclusively for animals. We also emphasize the importance of gentle training methods—excessive force will not be tolerated. Most pets are eager learners, so patience is key. If you’re interested in learning effective training techniques, feel free to reach out for a quick lesson based on my experience with my own dogs. Above all, make training a positive and enjoyable experience for both you and your pet. Visiting our agility yard is a direct contribution to our nonprofit One Dog One World's mission. We sincerely appreciate your support. onedogoneworld.org
