PLEASE NOTE: Humans are not allowed in the lake, per Norfolk City regs. The picturesque Wiseacre Estate has been an Airbnb for 10+ years, and now is also a private, peaceful retreat for your beloved doggies. * Hose and water bowl on-premises. We live in a suburb with close neighbors whom often enjoy their outdoor space in good weather. Penny’s Place is exactly what you want to make of it! Nearly one acre of fully fenced space where you can run, sunbathe, sniff the few trees, play with the hose and kiddie pool, whatever your pup’s heart desires! We do our best to refund our guests when unforeseen circumstances arise, derailing your reservation. Please try to give us notice, even if you are within the 2 hour window, so we can cancel your block. *if bad weather is highly anticipated in the area, please understand that we may not always approve a full refund if you cancel last minute HOURS: we close nightly at 10pm and reopen the following morning at 6 am. My back yard is fully fenced and gets mowed every 2 weeks. It is accessible via the gate at the side of the house. It is mostly even grass. After a good rain the yard is full of fun puddles and can be muddy. So much fun for the pups! There are a couple of chairs in the yard and plenty of street parking.

PLEASE DISPOSE OF POOP BAGS IN THE TRASH CANS IN THE DRIVEWAY. Additional Rules Pool Safety: No running around the pool. No diving or jumping into the pool. This is a swimming pool and only 6 feet deep. Glass Prohibition: No glass is allowed on the property. Pool Access: The pool is primarily for dogs. One adult can assist dogs in the pool. Only one person per visit is permitted in the pool unless you add additional people in the extras. No children are allowed in the pool due to liability, not even as an extra. No one under 18 is permitted. We look forward to providing you and your furry friends with a delightful and safe poolside experience!

Privacy fence on both sides with a 4-5ft chain link around it. Back of the yard is only chain link in case you have a jumper. The back of the yard is partially wooded but plenty of space to run and play. I am an owner of 4 dogs of which 3 go in the back the 4th is a rescue with high anxiety and gets walked. I do have dogs on both side of me. One side is quiet the other are hounds that will bark or howl. Currently there is an above ground pool not covered and no deck around it only steps. The steps will be removed soon and it will be closed for winter. Great running space for any dog that needs to stretch there legs.
