Welcome! We offer a 1 acre, fenced spot for your dog(s) to run, play, dog, sniff and bark! **Please see pic showing details of road work. Sept 3-Oct 11** Beautiful views and farm animal neighbors add to the fun. Shade trees and seating make this spot fun for all! Long and short grass *currently approx 1/3 mowed, the rest is a field of high grass. There is a trail mowed around outside a few through center*, slight hills, a sand pile and dirt to dig in too! We are a farm animal sanctuary and wildlife friendly. There may be long grass, insects, farm animal poo and other farmy stuff. Fun smell things such as feathers, wool, horse hair etc is added for dogs to sniff. All is cruelty free. WINTER: Seasonal pond takes up the lower portion of the spot. It may grow and shrink throughout the season. Dogs love it! Ground will likely be soggy but we will close if entrance becomes unsafe. SUMMER: During warm weather there is a 9’ stock tank pool (not filtered) for dogs. One adult may accompany each dog but please no children. >> Please note! Perimeter fence was replaced and spot now includes additional space! There are more trees and brush included for your dogs sniffing pleasure. Please use caution, there are some new trip hazards and holes. We have walked this multiple times but things may continue to work their way out of the exposed earth. We think dogs will enjoy even more but be aware, it’s a little more wild than before! << Private parking for one or two vehicles available. If additional needed, please message host. Clean porta potty available for guest use. This is also used by others, please keep dogs leashed in this area. This park is dedicated to Dexter, the King of Bork. He was a loud, happy guy that lived to bark! He inspired Misspits Rescue who has saved hundreds of dogs and other animals. All proceeds from this rental support Misspits and the animals in our care.

Hazards

Long and short grass, holes/uneven ground back in trees area mostly. Some brush/growth possibly stickerbushes (but we try to keep them under control) in far corner/side. Rodents in high grass! Mine love to chase but be aware if you don’t want that! One side borders 2 large pigs. They are friendly but watch anything poking through to them! One side borders a horse, friendly. Electric fence to horse is not on. Although not a hazard really, there may be old farm poo (horse/goat/sheep) it’s old and dry but dogs may find fun! *For very small dogs, please be cautious of eagles and hawks *Highway borders one side so there is road noise *during some seasons the grass is maintained by goats/sheep/horse (not during visits!) poop may be found *fireworks can sometimes be heard May-July I will try to message guests if they are happening (if you have to leave due to fireworks please msg for a code) *during hunting season, shots may be heard **DURING FLOOD SEASON there may be a seasonal pond/huge puddle** ***SPIDERS please be aware we are home to many native creatures, including beneficial spiders. Many orb weavers choose our fences to make their homes. They catch many flying insects and we appreciate that! Please do not disturb. There is a large yellow garden spider and egg sack on the fence facing the horses/barn PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB. Thank you!
