Buster is a 16 year-old dog who has essentially enjoyed this property with family dogs his entire life. He is the last one and we are at an age now where we probably won't be getting another dog; so, we want others to enjoy the land. Feel free to use the wash stall inside the barn (hot water and hoses are yours to use), there is also an outdoor fountain, water trough and plenty of electric outlets. I mowed a trail around the perimeter that is about a three mile walk / run.

Fun in Freeville: Fully Fenced Yard, Open Space, and Trails For Fido

Welcome to Fun in Freeville: Fenced Yard Edition! Our property includes a 2,500 sq. ft. fully fenced-in yard, a larger open field, and a 5-acre trail. The yard includes deck access and seating. There is a large umbrella for shade and rain in the summer. The ground in the yard is pretty flat and mostly grass. The open space in the back is also grass with some trees and bushes. It can get a little muddy during very wet times of the year but there is a hose available. There is a kiddie pool in the yard for your pup to cool down in the summer. We have a small fire pit in the yard if you want to start a fire in cooler weather. There's also a large fire pit on the trail with bench seating and a picnic table. Bring your binoculars if you enjoy birding. We have lots of hummingbirds in the summer and have seen barred owls on the trail. Please let us know if you're interested in having a fire or want to know if the pool is out. We'd be happy to start a fire for you if we're available or ensure the kiddie pool has fresh water. If there are other extras you'd like to see, let us know! You can walk around the house after parking to the back where there’s a deck to sit and watch you pup play or you can continue up the hill to greener trails that lead past a small orchard and up to a forested area. At the top of the hill you have a scenic view of the house, pond and greenery. It’s a great workout and very relaxing. Your dog/dogs will love the freedom the property has to offer. We do have our own dog which will be in doors during your visit and there are dogs across the street when you first park so please be mindful of your dog is reactive.
