Description

Hey everyone, My partner Wendy and I have a fully fenced (6 ft tall), private backyard (~1,700 sq ft) in East Liberty a few blocks from the Target and in the middle of the East End of Pittsburgh. We don’t use the backyard as much as we should, so we’re offering it to you and your pets! And our indoor cats, Binks and Tonks, will really enjoy seeing your dogs run around back there. We have chairs for owners, a deck for shade, toys and water for the pups, and street parking is available. We’re happy to add a place for your pets to run and play! Best, Colin and Wendy

In the back left corner of the yard, there is a low-cut metal sign post (it’s in too deep to remove). A small solar lamp has been placed in it to mark the spot.

Extras

Fire Pit$40

Pittsburgh fall and winter are perfect for hanging by a fire pit with your pups. Wood is included, and we have up to 8 chairs. Just make sure to put out the fire before leaving. Minimum 2 hour reservations to use this extra.

Hover Drone Photos/Videos$10

I have a personal hover drone that takes high resolution videos and photos that could make for a unique moment with your pet! Because the drone is paired with my phone, I would need to be there during your reservation to facilitate.

Hey everyone, my partner Wendy and I have a private, fully fenced backyard in East Liberty a few blocks from the Target. We don’t use the backyard as much as we should, so we’re offering it you and your pets! Our indoor cats, Binks and Tonks, will really enjoy seeing your dogs run around back there. We have water bowls, some dog toys, and there is street parking in front of our house. We’re happy to add a place for your pets to run free!

No dogs close by but may see some deer and groundhogs etc. and some cats. Yard is unfenced and has pear tree in center. Near McIntyre Square/UMPC Passavant/McCandless Crossing. If it has been raining, you can expect the yard to be a little muddy. You may park in our driveway or on the street. Enter the backyard via either gate and enjoy! Get out of the sun under our deck or the many tall trees bordering the yard. There is a water jug under the deck filled with tap water. I don't provide a bowl for sanitary reasons, but you can bring your own, or in a pinch, use a poop bag! Poop bags by the water jug, and also on the gate by the driveway. Dog waste and other trash may be discarded in the white trash can under the deck or in the large black trash can marked "Trash Only" outside the driveway gate. Under the deck, there is a bin of dog toys for your use - flirt pole, chuck it balls, tugs. If your dog likes to dig, they may dig freely in the dirt under the deck. This is a yard full of great sniffs - squirrels, chipmunks, birds, bunnies and ground hogs all trek through regularly. Many dogs love to climb up on the stone walls and sniff everything. Running around on the huge deck is also popular! Basic table and chairs for your convenience in the yard and on the deck. Note: There is a red Mulberry tree in the yard. Mulberries are safe for dogs. The large deck has bird feeders containing safflower seed. Safflower seed is also safe for dogs. Please keep your dog leashed until you are in the backyard. DO NOT ENTER OTHER PEOPLE'S YARDS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. **Please use caution in winter as everything will be snowy and slippery. The backyard and deck are not maintained in winter.

WE TEMPORARILY HAVE TURNED AVAILABILITY OFF SO WE CAN PLANT GRASS IN THE BARE SPOTS AND ALLOW IT TO GROW FOR THE SPRING. Will most likely only take two weeks so we will be back to full availability soon. Back yard is about 3/4 to an acre fully fenced. There is an above ground pool with a fence around the deck. Small dogs will be able to sneak through the pool deck fence so use caution with smaller pups. We block the deck off with all the pool junk best we can. Depending on if we are home the yard is always picked up before each guest and fresh water put out for your pup. If you need to book with shorter notice, send me a message and see if I can make accommodations. I also block time off to mow grass or if we are using the pool. A lot of the time I am done early so you can always message me and we can see if it’s available. Any questions just ask :)
