Description

Dogs love my sniff-tastic space! I hope you'll visit my large, fully enclosed half-acre yard. It has everything a pup could ask for: an open clearing for zoomies or game of fetch, shady woods and nooks and crannies to investigate, SO MANY critter sniff trails, and dirt, leaves and grass to dig in! It's also a great space for humans of all sizes to explore! You can even try your hand at a game of bocci ball while you're here in our gravel court! Easy side-street parking on Kamankeag makes accessing the yard through the back gate a piece of cake! *OUR FENCING IS NOT SUITABLE FOR VERY SMALL DOGS OR ESCAPE ARTISTS.*

Hazards

This space is semi-naturalized so you and your dog/s may encounter such potential hazards as poison ivy, ticks, loose logs/sticks, thorns, sweet gum balls, bees/wasps, etc. Please note that we do have two open compost bins, but we make every effort to never place onions or grapes/raisins here to keep all of our dogs safe. Typically, our dog doesn't pay too much attention to the bins.

Give your dog a touch up or full groom while you're here! This kit includes: - pet-safe trimmer with attachments - basic grooming scissors - curved grooming scissors - blunt-tip grooming scissors - access to broom If you use our deck or yard chairs or tables for grooming, we ask that you sweep hair off these surfaces and off the path, walkways and into the bushes.

Includes everything from Full Grooming Kit, EXCEPT host cleans the mess, PLUS: Host will assist by providing an extra set of hands to help you groom your dog/s as needed for one hour.

Grooming Kit Rental - Full$20

Includes everything from basic kit, PLUS: - nail grinder - wide-tooth comb - brush (soft/firm bristles) - ear powder - hemostats (for pulling ear hair) - ear wash - shampoo - conditioning spray - access to hose - towels/rags If you use our deck, yard chairs, or tables for grooming, we ask that you sweep hair off these surfaces and off the path, walkways and into the bushes.

Hose Access$5

Use the hose to cool off, wash your pup, or play in during warmer weather! Sprinkler attachments may be available upon request.

Human Interaction$10

One to two of us can be present in the yard to interact with your dog as requested as you work on socialization. If male, female, or youth is preferred, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate!

Puppy Play Date$5

Our dog, Figgy, would love to meet your pooch/es! She's a bit barky at first but makes friends quickly. She loves to run and romp after she's acclimated! We'll stay outside with her to make sure everything goes smoothly. If you feel uncomfortable after initiating a puppy play date with us, and would rather have the Sniffspot back to yourself, just say the word.

We moved here partly because we love the huge wild backyard and proximity to Cheswick Park. We added a fence for our dog and are excited to share the space with you! All are welcome! 🙂♥️🌈🐕

Lola's Great Backyard

Plenty of room to zoom around and play ball. Lots of grass to sniff and sticks to find! Fully fenced in yard with chain link fence that is 4 feet tall. Seating areas on deck lounge on the couch or sit at the table And chairs. Additional seating area around fire pit (but please no fires!). Our resident dog Lola loves to play fetch and find sticks in the yard. Sometimes there’s even a squirrel to chase! Shared fence with Neighbors on the right side (no dog), and behind (small dog that is shy). This yard is not ideal for escape artists

	Only one booking is allowed at a time at any spot and there is an enforced 30 min buffer between all bookings to ensure dogs in separate bookings do not meet.
	This spot is set for Booking, which means you will be instantly confirmed for any booking you request. You will receive the address and access instruction immediately following booking.
	Visits can be moved or cancelled up to 2 hours before a visit.
	Visits can be extended and dogs can be added throughout the visit.
