55Had such a good time playing in the snow!
55Our boys just love Old Yellers! A great place to bring 2 over-friendly labs that can chase until their hearts are content without annoying other dogs
55Beautiful property and very much appreciated the long line provided. Lots of room to explore. Our dog came home exhausted. Thank you for sharing your space!
55Love coming here! The dogs have so much fun!
55Great time as always. Tons of space for the dogs to run around and sniff!
55Perfect weather and beautiful place to walk. We had a fantastic Sunday afternoon
55Always fun at Old Yellers!
55 Great time with the pups! So much space, easy directions to get there and where to enter!
55Very nice space. I visited in the fall and it’s very beautiful. The open field has high grass and there’s a well maintained path through the field. Very easy walking trail with a bit of a hill to start. Easy to find and also good parking spot.
55One of our favourite spots! Janice is such a great host and the property is beautiful. My pup really enjoyed his free cookie too.

The outer perimeter is a 4 foot very old square page wire livestock fence which some dogs could go over if they really tried. As I’ve seen a dog scramble up an 8 foot wooden fence once, so it’s dependent on the dog. The only open part is t...

Description

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD ******* Note this Sniffspot App was created in the USA so the funds charged to your credit card will be in US dollars. I’m very sorry if that’s an inconvenience for you. Please feel free to google the exchange rate of US funds to Canadian to gauge approximately how much you’ll be paying for your visit. As well as PICK UP YOUR DOGS POOP, and if you happen to see one not picked up, please pick it up as you might not have noticed that yours might have did it. Thanks so much for understanding!******************** Come enjoy our 40 acre nature walk with your family and best furiends 🐕. It’s approximately a 1/2 mile long from the old green shop parking area to the end of the big top pasture. The very large grass pasture at the top of the hill is edged with wild brush (and a very old 4 foot page wire fence) is all on the outside perimeter, the only open spot is the 2 front gates. But recall is good to have as I don’t completely trust fences as I’ve seen some pretty good escape artists get over much higher wooden fences. There are 2 smaller pastures at the bottom of the hill before the bush areas as well, and one side has a little bit of a pond/standing water on it. You could also see some wildlife on your walk. We hope you will consider us for your dogs exercise needs, and are looking forward to having you explore our private ranch pasture. 🐾 🐾

Hazards

This is a 40 acre nature, natural country SniffSpot walk with possibly wildlife and uneven ground. The big pasture was a grazing grass field for livestock for many years so the ground can be very uneven. Please be careful and mindful of where your walking because of the rough ground. There is bush, a hill, and a bit of old barbed wire in a couple of spots on the outside bush areas that would be on the same part of the fence as the square page wire is. You could also encounter various different kinds of wildlife on your walk. There are a few horses to the south on the bottom part and a dog sometimes is occasionally heard in the distance. The grass can be very long at times and has low spots with sitting water, and can be damp so you might get wet shoes, rain or hiking boots, would be helpful. As well as there are mosquitos in the summer so bug protection is required. There’s some thistle patches in the long grass that we have been working on for years to get rid of. There may be Mole mounds and tunnels. Which some dogs have fun digging at, but be cautious of where you walk. In the winter there is snow, so tall snow boots or snow shoes would be handy. Please be safe!
