IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Welcome to Crawford farm! We have plenty of space for running around, playing frisbee, fetch, swimming.. whatever your fur baby is after. We are a small farm, which means we have chickens, ducks and goats. We keep our animals in their coops when fur friends are visiting. ***please note; we require notice at least one day in advance if the animals are to be kept in their coops. Otherwise we let them free range*** The creek has an easy entry location. It’s shallow water at that spot. Deeper water in other areas. Our property is sprayed using a food grade insect deterrent. Plus our chickens free range when there are no dogs around. This means very minimal tick sightings. We have children, so expect some toys around. If you’re bringing children, they’re welcome to play on the play structure. (Pending parental approval and supervision). Plenty of muskoka chairs to relax in while your fur baby plays. The road isn’t right beside the area where fur friends run, however it is accessible from the yard. If you have a dog that’s a flight risk or likes to chase cars, this isn’t the right spot for you. We have lots of dog friends that visit unleashed and listen well to their owners with no issues. Any questions, please ask!

We have 2 dogs, 4 goats a bunch of chickens and some Muscovy ducks - they are kept in their own enclosed area We have recently added a shade spot with table and chairs, as well as a fridge and freezer in the pump house containing pop and water for sale, as well as freezies and dog treats. ***Charges are in USD*** We at BHS understand that letting your dog run and play is so important! But some dogs aren't suitable for dog parks or social areas. Our private, fully fenced half acre yard is the perfect place to let your (reactive or otherwise) dog just be a dog and get some freedom! Please check in at the front desk to get the key to the yard, and clean up after yourself. There are water bowls in the yard, but please bring your own water. There are trees providing shady areas throughout the day. If bringing back the key when we are not open, please put it in the Mailbox, located beside our Front Doors. When we are open, our receptionists will gladly take the key back from you! All the fees go directly to the animals in our case, and we are a registered charity and no-kill shelter.
