IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD **Welcome to our Country Retreat – A Dog’s Paradise!** Looking for the perfect off-leash adventure for your furry friend? Our country property offers a serene and spacious environment for your dog to explore, play, and relax. While the area is not fenced, there’s plenty of room to roam with open fields, tree-lined paths, and a charming creek. A trail meanders through the field, leading all the way back to the next concession, providing ample space for sniffing and exploring. Pet owners can unwind at one of our shaded furniture spots or take a peaceful stroll through our garden. Depending on the season, you’re welcome to pick some veggies or flowers to take home. We’ve also provided a convenient water tap at the end of the pool house for your pup’s hydration needs. Please note that while the pool is a beautiful feature of the property, we kindly ask that no pets or people enter the swimming pool. For your peace of mind, I’m often home working on various outdoor projects. If you’d prefer a bit more privacy, just let me know in advance, and I’ll be happy to accommodate your request. Lastly, you might meet our friendly outdoor cat, Kenny Rodgers, during your visit. He’s quite the character but will happily give your dogs space if they’re not feline-friendly. Come enjoy the freedom and beauty of our country retreat – it’s a dog’s paradise!

We took it over about 4 years ago, and I work from home, helping Justin run our local sawmill business. We’ve got a 2-year-old Aussiedoodle named Gigi, who’s completely obsessed with playing fetch—she’ll probably try to convince you to join in if you ever choose to meet her. I’m really into gardening and love making our home and property a special place. We’re excited to share our little slice of country life with you and your pups. Please note that all prices listed are in USD no matter what country the host is in. Because it’s an American based company, all guests will be charged in USD. Ourfully fenced in property is very long and narrow, with a small hill at the back. It’s a great spot for playing fetch, or if your pooch has the zoomies. My one neighbour has trees along the West side of the fence, creating a lot of shade for your furbabies. They’ll second neighbour has a tall fence up for privacy. There’s a picnic table available for you to use, and also a small bistro set off to the side by the gate that you’re welcomed to sit at too. Help yourself to the dog toys that are available in the purple bin, as well as the pile of sticks for fetch. Those things can be found along the back of my house. We have some agility equipment - an all seasons commercial fibreglass tunnel, and a big wooden spool with a wooden bench to walk along. Feel free to bring some kibble to toss in the pool noodle pool! It’s a great enrichment activity for your dog(s) - trying to search for the kibble through the pool noodle pieces. The pool noodle pool is available, weather permitting. There’s also drinking water for your dog(s), and a small garbage bin provided for any waste. I am VERY open to suggestions or ideas via chat. Feel free text reach out to me with any questions or ideas. We have Silkie chickens that stay in their fenced in area on the East side of the property. Nobody around here minds if your dogs bark. If you feel the chickens would be too distracting for your dog(s), please let me know and I can try and get them into the coop during your stay. Free wifi available ~ the password will be given when you book your visit. My goal is to have my setup better and better each time you come, so I welcome your feedback and suggestions! EXTRAS AVAILABLE (when you book these options Will he listed for you to choose) • Tennis ball pit • Dog pool (6’ diameter) • Dog bathing station (small) with shampoo and towel provided • Swing-set (children only) and basketball net • Waste management - we will pick up after your dog once you leave. • pig ear to chew on for the ride home.

I am delighted to have you and your dog(s) enjoy this fully fenced in 1 acre yard! There are long open areas where doggo can run full speed chasing a ball. There is a concrete wall on one side of the property, woods covering the back and most of the side, and a tall fence on the front side, which creates a very private space. Also included is poop bags, water, and a poop scooper. No pesticides are used on this property. There is also plenty of room for parking multiple vehicles in the driveways. Enjoy!

There are great ponds for swimming and Cow Creek near the back 20 acres to play in, a wetland area has been recently installed by a nature conservation group. We ask folks to keep dogs on leash through the front 5 acres where we grow organic vegetables. Please do not enter the greenhouses or barn. Please stay out of the crops and garden beds.
