55I love bringing my belgian malinois here to run around. She absolutely loves it there. Thank you miranda for opening you yard for us..
55Well kept and easy to find
55Great place, securely fenced in.
55Great spot for a puppy play date!
55A large and lovely yard for the dogs to run in, with plenty of trees and hidden spots for them to sniff. I had no trouble walking around with them either. We even got all 3 to go up and over the ramp, so a success all around! Would be lovely to sit at the table and have a coffee next time while I let them romp:).
55It is a big open space perfect for my dog to run and play fetch.
55Great spot! We brought or well trained dog and a new-to-us dog today as our very first sniff spot and it was a success. Lots of room to run and sniff with different areas. There were toys and water available and a trash bin for poop bags.
55Perfect spot to spend some time on a beautiful fall day!
55Our dogs had a great time. The property was beautiful and well kept. Fencing was more than adequate. The dogs found plenty to explore. We have one fairly reactive dog and had no problems with outside distractions. We would definitely visit again.
55Pups had a great time! Awesome yard, lots of room to run, and super close to everything! Wet and a little muddy after a few days of rain - pups were FILTHY and got a bath immediately after - but that's the PNW for ya! Ducks were also super cute to see, and one of our dogs was very captivated by them! Thanks for sharing your spot!

this is generally a quiet neighborhood. homes are spread out but people do walk by occasionally and homeowner/residents are coming and going sometimes. we are very careful not to approach and i usually text in advance if we haven't met yet and one of us needs to access the driveway during the reserved time. this is rare, but possible.

Nature in the City Private Dog Park

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!
