Sometimes

My dogs will be kept in the house while you're here unless you want to have company, just let us know. If they sense that you're here they may bark for a little bit, but it will not be ongoing and I will do my best to keep them away from the windows while you're here. It's a big property so if you're towards the back, they won't notice at all. I do dog sit so can't guarantee a pup might not notice you, but we will gather them quickly so you can enjoy your stay.

Sometimes

I do not have any other animals besides dogs, but the neighbors have dogs that might bark if they're outside and one of the neighbors has chickens, but none of the dogs have ever noticed the because they're in a lovely house on the other side of a privacy fence. I've never heard them so the house seems to be well insulated or sound proof-ish.

Sometimes

It is possible that you might hear a neighbor but it's very rare. You can hear kids playing at the school when it's in session. You may see people walking on the street if you're in the front. It is possible you might hear a street traffic, but that is also very rare. The house is a main house with 2 in law suites. Someone may be in one of our units but all parties know not to leave or return during your stay and not to enter the yard. If you & your pup welcome friends, just let us know! Our dogs are super, super friendly and love to socialize and play.

The only way to enter the property at this time is through the main gate at the front of the property. If you need my assistance getting in, I'm happy to meet you at the gate, but will typically allow you privacy. You can push the right side of the gate to come in and you're welcome to pull your car inside or leave it on the outside of the gate. Please close the gate to ensure your dog is fully secured. Leaving the gate open will open the possibility to allow coyotes to come in. We have two ranch gates on the interior of the property along the house of the driveway and on the left side to the pathway to the house. Feel free to close both. Small dogs can still fit through but if you keep the main gate at the entrance closed, you're good to go. (Please note red fence to the right, when you first come in, that is the one that smaller dogs can get through). With both interior gates closed, you won't have to worry about deliveries or other visitors to the house. We will have signage soon to help with all these instructions! :)
