Hello, my name is Andrew and I own a property in unincorporated Winthrop Harbor, Zion Illinois. I am offering the West area of my property to interested parties that would like a peaceful place to walk their pet and even bring a chair and sit and spend a little time with their animal. It is a safe place we have chickens and dogs of our own. There is no fencing so you would need a leash if your dog is the type to run off. It is an unfenced area although a large area with a huge back space where you can get some nature time with your dog.
My yard isn’t the biggest, but my dogs are so sweet and love playing. I’ll provide healthy treats, too.

Welcome to Olive and Louie's Pooptopia! We're excited to offer your furry friend a clean, safe, and fun-filled experience every time you visit. Our spacious, 6-foot tall fenced-in yard provides the perfect playground for your dog to run, fetch, and explore, surrounded by the delightful scents of our two friendly dogs and the occasional visiting bunnies. You’ll find easy access to our backyard through a side gate, with plenty of street parking available. We’ve also got water readily available via a hose and a playful frog pool for your pup to splash around in. Come and let your dog enjoy the ultimate backyard adventure!

We have a HEATED indoor play space with PADDED FLOORS! We also have an outdoor space for your pup(s) as well! You get the whole area to yourselves and our staff is present in the building if you need assistance or have questions. **I prefer a message PRIOR to booking, if our chickens are out for the day we do not have a way to put them up, they free range and go in when they would like.** We have 5.8 acres of unfenced land. We have chickens and goats on the property along with our own dogs so we have lots to smell! We have areas that are mowed and areas that are not. We are nestled between apartment buildings but our land keeps us separated that it’s private. We can make sure the farm animals are put up as the chickens free range if your dog has a high prey drive, but please give us a 24 hour notice if you need the chickens put away for your visit.
This back yard is fully fenced with driveway guest parking. There is a mix of both sun and shade, and a hose for water. The grass is treated for bugs in the spring and kept short through the summer. No people or dog distractions at my property, so the place is all yours to wander. I absolutely love making this space comfortable for dogs & owners to stretch their legs in peace. Welcome! Our location features a large yard and easy street parking. There is no garage, allowing for lots of space for your pet to run! The yard is fully fenced. In the spring and summer, humans and dogs can enjoy the view of the perennial butterfly garden that lines the yard.🌿 Feel free to use the black garbage cans in the alley to dispose of bagged waste. Easy and free street parking **We strive to keep our yard clean for our family and yours. Please note that in the case of same day or late night scheduling, we will likely not have the ability to do a pre visit walkthrough to ensure that the yard is 100% poop free When we catch the reservation in time and are available, we are ON IT! We have an abundance of city bunnies that play in our gardens at night and you might see some evidence of their travels through our yard. We do our best to stay on top of bunny pellets. Thank you for your understanding! We love hosting and do our best to make it a pleasant experience
Great property to walk with large and small dogs. The entire back lot is fully fenced and plenty of running space for frisbee or ball. Disposable water bowls can be found in our welcome bin. A hose will be available in summer and a water jug in winter. A small patch of uncut brush in the back is great for jumping sniffing and tracking the high branches are cleared for humans to also walk through:) located near wetlands some of the fencing extends through overgrowth or wetland and brush/scrub tree areas it can be damp in wet weather times. The ENTIRE BACK lot is fully secure, originally built to contain our dachshunds and our late Great Dane. Because we own several small dogs (and also a large dog) ourselves it is checked regularly for any holes, or wear. (If you see any holes please let us know ASAP) Our dogs will be kenneled when you visit! Extra notes: *We live near a gun range and during hunting seasons and summer primarily range noise can be heard in the distance. Weekdays are quieter in general for all noises :) * Please note in spring/ fall thaw and heavy rain parts of our yard so stay soggy and even wet for some time -appropriate footwear should be considered (rubber boots are ideal)-we have towels for dogs in our welcome bin. Canine Respiratory Illness! Here’s what we are doing! -disposable one-visit bowls are to be found in our bin, please use them for your dogs and then dispose of them before you go or take them home. -we will continue to disinfect the toys provided at least once a day with our dog-safe disinfectant Effer-San. -We ask that you place used toys in the used toy bin after use. - in the summer the patio and grass near the house will be sprayed with our dog-safe disinfectant Wishy-Wash once a day. -We do this for our dogs as well as for yours
